Special Counsel Robert Hur says Biden 'willfully' kept classified documents but won't be prosecuted

Trump appointee Hur did not find evidence to charge the President who, like VP Pence, cooperated fully when it was discovered that he had classified documents in his possession.

If Biden and Pence had lied about having them and tried to hide them, they would have been held to account.

As is proper.

 

Nope not true as Huh testified they have the recordings from 2017 where Joe says he found the classified material and read it to the writer. Then in another case he read classified information, told the writer to be careful it may be classified. Never did he turn it back in, he left it in one of seven places they found documents, including in the Penn building China paid for.

 

Nope not true, found evidence didn't think he could win with Joe being seen as the old senile man that didn't know what he did or didn't do.

Also, Hur really overstepped his bounds putting in that Biden was “an old man with a poor memory”, yet during the interview said “he had almost a photographic memory” …..

Mr Hur has no qualifications as a geriatrician.

As a Republican attorney, he concluded that the President, like Mike Pence, is not prosecutable.

That upset Trump worshipers desperate to ignore the overwhelming evidence that Trump concealed a far greater quantity of far more timely classified material and lied about it.

Hur concluded in his report that Biden carelessly kept classified documents and notebooks at his former Washington, D.C. office and Delaware home after he left the vice presidency in 2017, but said the evidence wasn’t strong enough to charge him with crimes. ​

 

He also never ignored a subpoena or tried to hide stuff when the govt was coming to retrieve it.

 

Maybe he was though with them?

 

Who besides Biden's ghost writer had access to those secret papers? What will be in the memoirs from those documents? Biden was VP when he took those documents, Trump was President so which was most likely to have had access to top secrets?

 

He hid the stuff for years, not until they went after Trump did DNC lawyers "find" Biden's classified material scattered about. lol

btw, when Senator Biden illegally took classified material did he stuff them down his pants like Clinton's guy?

 

He did more than hide cocaine in his house, but he didn't admit he had it...

Doubt it, but he didn’t lie to investigators like trump and Berger….which is why he and pence weren’t charged

 

Nobody asked, he reported it.
Either way classified material isn’t cocaine….
Nobody gets charged for having classified materials if they don’t break other laws also.

 

Cocaine is self destructive, government secrets can endanger everyone covered in the papers as well as broader national interests. Biden didn't come forward till his troops started on Trump and it put him at risk too.

 

So what? Nobody gets charged just for having them. Why should Joe be a held to a higher standard than anyone else?

Yup, and they only get charged for stuff like lying to investigators and obstruction. Why do you think pence wasn’t charged?

Trump was pursued because he had the documents. The charge is having those documents, not for trying to hide them. Hur declined to prosecute Biden because of his senility.

 

Trump was known to have them for months, he wasn’t charged until he lied on the subpoena and tried to move stuff.
Say it with me, nobody gets charged just for having them.

That is incorrect. He found there was insufficient evidence to obtain a conviction. He also made a gratuitous comment about Biden's mental state, something he is totally unqualified to do, credibly. He is a Lawyer, not a psychologist etc.
