    Bottom line:

Robert Hur, as special counsel, conducted a yearlong probe into President Biden's handling of classified documents.

Hur, a Republican nominated by Trump to be a U.S. Attorney, absolved Biden of legal culpability.

Biden's violation of protocol is not unique. Mike Pence had repeatedly said he did not have any in his possession, bur classified documents were discovered at the former vice president’s new home in Carmel, Indiana.

Pence will not be charged, either, although no one has formally exonerated him.

Now I think that is the burning question, did he steal it or was he cleared to have them given his position as President?

And Hur found there was insufficient evidence to convict him of any crime.

In an interview yesterday Hur repeatedly said that nowhere in his report did it say he was exonerated. Biden was guilty he declined to prosecute an old man with a shaky memory.

The President was found guilty of nothing.

    As is customary:

    Special Counsels do not "exonerate."

Hur's personal opinion of Biden's mental acuity (or his neckties, for that matter) is irrelevant. He has no expertise in those areas that were not within his remit.

You should not take the fact that no one has "exonerated" Mike Pence as implying his culpability.

Then why didn't he bring forth charges? Forget about memory because Hur told Biden he appeared to have a photographic memory.

No sir, he was in violation of the law but Hur didn't figure he could get a conviction given that Biden is a Democrat and has seen better days. Stumbling in and out of a courtroom in his decreased capacity it wasn't worth the trouble.

No, you made that up. Republican Hur expressed nothing concerning the President's political party.

    What he did say:

“Unlike the evidence involving Mr. Biden, the allegations set forth in the indictment of Mr. Trump, if proven, would present serious aggravating facts.”

“Most notably, after being given multiple chances to return classified documents and avoid prosecution, Mr. Trump allegedly did the opposite.”

    Sure lol!

I guess we can expect prosecutors to drop charges if the defendant says they don't recall/remember, right?

Trump believed he had a right to have those papers, Biden's ghost was probably finished with his and had copies of the most important ones.

    Your presumptions are noted.

Why did the loser hide and lie about having them if he believed he had some nebulous "right" to have them?

Then he should have asserted that in court when he was subpoenaed. Not tried to hide stuff he wanted to keep

Trump's desperate hope is to bring them to a screening halt.

If he expected to be acquitted, he would be hellbent on clearing his name before November.
