That’s what it was intended to do. One of the reasons the judge dragged it out for so long.

There has to be some penalty for both of them lying under oath, right? What is the standard for dismissal? Is it not an appearance of impropriety?

How was that a conflict? They both wanted to attack Trump for his alleged crimes. How was having a relationship going to change that?

    When did they lie?

There was no finding of lying.

I've read the full judgment. There as a very specific finding that there was no conflict of interest.

Regardless of how the judge ruled, Willis and Wade had their reputations destroyed, and depending on how it's viewed, maybe the judge, too.

i wonder if you will agree that Humpty's*** reputation is ruined by the Carroll verdict, or is that somehow different?

If you read the full judgement, the only people who copped a hiding in the decision were Bradley and Yeartie. Quite noticeably, McAfee left Merchant alone and I think that is fair enough as she can be dealt with elsewhere for her scandalous unethical behaviour.

All in all, no-one, including the Judge comes out of this smelling like roses, but the bottom line is, Willis remains, Wade resigns, the Indictment stands and this will no go to Trial.

The supporters of Humpty*** and his co-accuseds ought be worried now that the bloke they claim is 'unqualified' is off the case.

    No. Motion denied.

He is a rapist, swindler, bordering on pathological and if it is good enough for the US media to call him not by his name, it is good enough for me.

'Humpty Dumpty fell off a wall'....get it?......the Mexican Wall, and 'all the Kings ....men' ..... GOP......cannot put him back together again. It is spot on.

But, back on topic, Kirschner is a good commentator but I concede he does have a bias. Taking that bias into account, still, he talks facts:

I don't need foreigners insulting my country and leaders. Is your country so perfect that you have nothing to complain about? And what makes you qualified to comment on anything political in America?

Funny the way some Americans champion the right to free speech but whinge about it when it is exercised, in the same breath!

I am as qualified as any Member here, probably even a tad more read on the subject of Humpty***, and I am learning more and more every day about the many malaise which trouble the USA, the outdated Constitution being at the very base of all of them mostly.

But...all of that is Off Topic.

Fact is, I and many other 'foreigners' are here, and if you have a problem with that, take it up with the Owner/Admin of PF.

    Compare and contrast:

I loved the stuff about Willis/the Church which just blithely ignores Humpty*** clutching a Bible, the teachings of which he***abuses just about every day.

Tell that to Canada, England and Germany. And no, you are not in the USA.

But what I post here is subject to USA Law as the site is hosted here.

I have no idea of the relevance of Canada, England and Germany to my comments here.

LMAO…your so-called orange leader insults my country every time he opens his mouth to lie about having his election stolen, so lay off the petulant bullshit.
Your boy trump is a criminal and you know it, but you can’t handle arguing his situation so you resort to cheap jingoistic distractions.

Irrelevant. Bushie would be free to refer to ‘Humpty’ down here, as I am free to call him The Stain…you would be better employed in devising a means of bleaching that stain out of your nation…

Do you agree with this decision? Do you think Fani Willis has been demonstrated a competent and reliable officer of the court?

A Grand Jury indicted Humpty*** et al. The rest is rubbish, white noise, which, as McAfee said, has nothing to do with the rights of any of the accused people.

Yes, as does McAfee. If he felt otherwise, his decision would have been totally different.

And, she is the AG, and McAfee cannot remove her from that position no matter what his view of her might be.

Just like Willis can't remove him, no matter what her view of him might be.

Both positions are political in nature.

That's the way it rolls in the good old USA.

The one thing which you cannot get around is that it was a Grand Jury which indicted, not Willis.

I listened to her live testimony, and I find it outrageous that the Trump team tried to maliciously expose her private life to discredit her.

By the way, Trump often complains that there's a two-tier justice system in this country.

What he did to Fani Willis is proof of that.

No citizen has the millions $ to attack a DA without proof, with the sole aim of derailing a major cause in US history.... or just to buy time.

And you MAGAs pay for his legal fees.
