Quantrill, you really want to go with the litmus test that any book in the OT has to be quoted in the NT to be valid? Not only will you find absolutely no precident for such a criteria, but it would disqualify a lot of books. I can't believe you sound intelligent but don't see the obvious flaw in your logic here.

I was responding to a the claim the a reference was made to the Apocrypha in Hebrews. Which I said it wasn't.

The quote from Acts shows that Paul referenced pagan poets, yet this does not make their writings Scripture.

The point is that I saw nothing in Hebrews that referred to the Apocrypha. But even if there had been, that would not have made the Apocrypha Scripture.
