If you consider homicide to be right in any circumstance, then you have a problem.

Homicide in war is acceptable (if the war has good justification).
Homicide in self-defense or defense of others is acceptable.
Even homicide in defense of just ones property is acceptable in some states (castle doctrine).

Homicide of a human that does not contain mind is also acceptable, since its the mind which gives us value. This is already considered true and undisputed in cases of braindead but biologically alive people, who are routinely killed and dismantled for organs in hospitals, and noone protests. The same should be (and by law is) true for biologically alive but braindead Zefs.

Please justify why homicide of humans which do not contain mind (embryos, braindead people) should be wrong. Especially when it benefits sentient humans.

First of all there is no such thing as "justified war" war is a crime in itself, where a selected group get richer and richer while most of the people get poorer and poorere.

Second what will stop me to kill you and then punch myself twice in the mouth and cry it was self defence?

Third "castle doctrine" do you still live in the middle ages?

Brain dead people are still alive so it's still a crime.

So, why not be more ethical rather than less ethical, by preventing the need for the "crime" through greater choice, instead of simply resorting to the coercive use of force of the State, without that recourse?

The whole point of "brain death" is to establish that the person is dead despite a beating heart.

Me either. She didn't have to give birth to those kids. But lifers want women to give birth every time they get pregnant. If they care so much about babies, they should be offering all the help this woman needs to care for her kids.

Where is PP? They said she was on welfare...I guess she kept getting paid by the State for having more kids. Now the State refuses to honor the 'contract' no wonder she's upset.

Lifers don't want women to become baby producing machines. We want the women to be responsible when they take such a decision. Something this woman certainly didn't had.

Then why do lifers support personhood amendments which would make many popular and effective birth control methods illegal? Why do they oppose comprehensive sex education and freely available contraceptives?

Do you think criminalizing abortion will make all women suddenly "responsible"?

Silly abortion promoters, the "personhood" ammendments only affect abortificants, not true birth control. Conception prevention is the only true birth control.

It doesn't matter. Killers will be killers.

I don't know, and I don't care what these so called "lifers" as you call them support. I know one thing, that sexual intercourse has the only purpose to give birth. If you have sex you want to have kids, otherwise you don't have sex. People can live without it pretty well.

Criminalizing abortion won't make women responsible, but it will make them think twice before being sluts.

It's what YOU call them (and maybe you shouldn't speak for them all if you don't know or care what they support):

"Sex for procreation only" is a religious belief. You are free to decide what the purpose of sex is for yourself, but not for others.

Now we see where you are coming from--women who have sex are sluts. We all know what misogynists think about abortion, and nobody cares.

You repeated this holy mantra of yours throughout the thread without understanding something. There is not such thing as "lack of information" regarding sexual activities, at least not in Europe. So even a 10 years old knows that if you engage in sexual activities there is a big chance to get pregnant.

One more thing, we have our hands to grab things with, there is not point in inventing some fancy machine that does that, just for the sake of a greater variaty of choices.

This is simply a bunch of hysterical nonsense designed to be a smoke screen.

The basic situation is that you and yours want to allow legal premeditated homicide at will, but only if the killer is a woman and only if she wishes to kill her own child.

As I said I don't care what those "lifers" say, I just said my opinion regarding this problem. If you don't want to have kids you have two options.

    1. Abstinence
    2. Contraceptives

You tell me now. What other purpuse has sex?

You can call me a misogyn if you want, it's your choice. But I personally belive that a woman that have casual sex, maybe after a couple of drinks in the club are sluts. And I have an ideea that I'm not the only one.

Sex is only accepteble in marriage, anything outside is perversity and hypocrisy.

    This is my personal opinion.

Please show one non-biased, authoritative source that states abortion is a homicide.

For those who don't choose abstinence, and contraceptives fail, there is a third option.

If sex were for procreation only, then all sex acts would logically end in pregnancy.

Again, you are free to live your own morals, but not to dictate them to others.

I find it funny how all the contraceptives fail in your mind.

You still didn't gave me another reason for sex.

I would live after my own morals if other wouldn't try to make the society that also includes me to pay for their stupidy.

That is all right, no one cares what mysoginists like you have to say either.

except you posed it as fact.

If you have to ask you clearly are not ready for it or the answer.

Iti s not a choice, it is a fact that you have demonstrated.

Have you been refused too many times and this is the way you are trying to get even?

    A sad possibility.

    Religious ignorance and zealotry.
