    It's "warm" over here.

    Without the heating on, it's like 15°C inside the house...

    I even put the terrace doors open when I was vacuuming earlier on! :shock:

    Bloody cold again!

    Thought yesterday there was a fire up near Elmore. I drove up to Echuca today, the air was thick with smoke. The horizen to the left and right was grey and some cars had their headlights on, it was so smoky.
    I didn't think there was a burn off, too much smoke for that so I guessed there was a fire somewhere.

    Came home and read the paper, and I found that yesterday, there was a massive buchfire near Elmore that burned out over 150 hectares of land!

    Dropped 7 inches of snow overnight last night and tonight the current temp is 5F (-15C).

    Sounds like the kind of weather I hate! Although it isn't much better here, he are still shivering our way through our run of freezing cold weather..in the middle of summer.

    Makes me wish I could move to Queensland right now!

    I also have a snow blower but I use the shovel because I like the exercise I get from using it. But when it starts to get to deep, well then out comes the blower.

    This is just in from the national weather bureau. They are not expecting much accumalation but living here in the mountains that can change in a heart beat.

    Today: A 30 percent chance of snow after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42. Wind chill values as low as -10. South southwest wind between 16 and 18 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

    Tonight: Snow likely, mainly after 11pm. Cloudy, with a low around 4. Wind chill values as low as -10. Southwest wind between 11 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

    M.L.King Day: A 50 percent chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 14. Wind chill values as low as -15. West southwest wind between 13 and 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

    Monday Night: A 20 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around -1. Wind chill values as low as -15. South southwest wind between 8 and 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.

    Tuesday: A 40 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 14. South southwest wind between 8 and 18 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

    Tuesday Night: A 50 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 5. West southwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.
