well , Christmas is over , old hoss... kids is on their way back ,,, things back to normal... my wife and I always argue about when to take the tree down.... I'd leave it up all year long.....she humors me and we'll take it down Sat. night.... most of our decorations are hand made by us or the kids , so it's a special time...

I never had kids. Teaching has been my 2nd career and after seeing kids all day and what it does to some parents, I'm glad I didn't.

My mom visited us. She has ALZ and the last night she was here thought she was still and home. She also visited at Thanx and thought I still lived at home with her, also on the last day of her visit. Seems that anything past a 3 day visit and she gets confused. I'll need to put her into assiated living this summer and sell her house. I'm not looking forward to doing that in addition to "convincing" her that going into a facility will be best for her.

I would love to have one of those coffee pots but I have too many pots already,,I have a vaccum coffee pot, a coffee press, several percolators and three dripolatosr. I am loaded with coffee pots..

I bought about 5 different kinds and one called Bali Blue Moon I roasted it too long and it was more like espresso. I like a city roast in coffee. I know, I know you don't like to talk about coffee....lol.

Got to get me a cup of coffee. I bought all this fancy coffee and it is so good. I am drinking some called Costa Rican Tres Rios La Magnolia it is wonderful. Roasts up really nice and flavorful.

You will always have him in your memory and that is the biggest part of life..memories.

I have the Christmas mullygrubs.
