      West Windsor, you?
    2. i.beletesri
      What 'ad homenim'?
You're the one who uses substitute ad-homenims like 'zionists'.
And again it's ME providing all the Facts.. Not you.
The 'Hitler-not-evil' find just Conspicuously Consistent with the 'Middle East position'. The one you already lost the debate on.

Look at this page... going on two pages. Who's doing the 'mustering'?
    3. i.beletesri
I get your 'Israel' position Now.
      A quick look around reveals...
You were the one who started the 'Hitler Wasn't Evil' string.

      Thus your 'anti-zionism'. (Cough)
      another true 'palestinian supporter'.
    4. i.beletesri
I post FACTS. (numbers, Maps, and Real History). See Below.
Yeah, that's my facts and your... Nada.
You post the Tritest and Wrongest little narrative I have EVER seen... and I've seem em all.
    5. WafflesFTW
None of those things were rebutted. :P
Actually read my comments. I have little patience for ignorance which you seem to demonstrate in full form.
    6. i.beletesri
You said they were "kicked out". Rebutted.
You said in the "middle of the [Arab] Breadbasket".. Rebutted. Actually a Tiny Arid Fringe!
You said "like 3 States"... Rebutted.
      and many others.

You clearly knew/know NO History whatsoever.
Just have some bizarro opinions you heard from some leftist or Arab website. (or created from Bias)
The only Facts you spouted were those I posted and you tried to twist.
Your's the basically the funny old:

""There was this wonderful little country 'palestine' and Jews came by with tanks and over-ran their parliament building and kicked em out.. and that's why the other arabs states are also having trouble, those Jews on a big portion of their most fertile land""

    7. i.beletesri
Below makes NO sense in our discussion. NONE.
You have been rebutted on every single RIDICULOUS claim.
It was a Remarkable show too!
    8. WafflesFTW
So you honestly think that the British ruled the Ottoman with an Iron Fist. That their entire attention was on that location. They more or less practiced salutary neglect.
    9. i.beletesri
Kicked out WHAT "Previous Ruling Party"???
There was Never a self-Governing Arab (or Any other) State 'Palestine'.

The British won it from the Ottoman Empire, who ruled it for 400 years. (where it was just 3 provinces).. and before that many other conquerors/Crusades, etc.

The last 'Self-Governing Party' on that land was.... ISRAEL. (Conquered by Romans and renamed by THEM 'palestina' as a term of insult to the Jews.
    10. i.beletesri
"Thanks for proving my point. The ottoman empire was broken up and a portion given to the Jews. Why not give 3 average sized US states to the Jews? That's 6% as well."

You Only proved you Can't Read.
The Jews only got 1% of the Ottoman Empire. (13% of the smaller British Mandate) Though they were promised a Much larger State by the British and UN Predecessor League of Nations.

That's like giving Jews One Small State, ie Connecticut, of the USA. and many DID live there.
And I Rebutted ALL your other points including 'kicked out', "middle of homeland'.. and EVERTHING else.
    11. i.beletesri
Your statements on Israel are trite and Unbelievably MISinformed.

77% of British Mandate was lopped and made Jordan, no Jews allowed.

      Jordan is 70% 'Palestinian'.
Leaving the other 23% divided roughly 13-10 for the Jews.

Meaning the Arabs aka Palestinians got 87% of the Mandate.
      (the Pink AND Red Areas)

And آ½ of the Jews 13% was the Negev Desert. (lower آ½ the light Blue Area above)
So Jews really got about 6% of the usable land of the Original Mandate..and about 1% of the Ottoman land.
(The arabs got 99% of the land and 100% of the resources.
If you want to keep breaking Arabs down into small sub-groups like the nonexistant-at-the-time 'palestinians', one can always find small injustice.)

AND unlike in the surrounding states... Arabs still live in/make up 20% of Current Israel's population within that land.
Had they not rejected the partition/started a war in 1948, They might even be a majority by now.

Also not seen on maps? 2/3 of what became Israel was State Land, passing from the Ottomans, to the British, to the Jews; owned by NO Arab.
This Includes the Half alone of Israel that was/Is the Negev Desert.

Yes, the lower half of that little that red spot/Israel- is the Negev Desert, State Land under the Ottomans, owned by No Arab....and about 15-20% more that was also state land.
And 20% of the population of the upper half of the Red Dot- is Arab.

Somehow the poor Arabs will just have to make do.
Does that look like the 'Middle' of the Arab Homeland to you?
It looks like a dam Fringe/crumb to me.
And an Arid/Resourceless one at that.
    12. i.beletesri
In 1948, The UN apportioned the last of the territory of the Ottoman Break up to the remaining Palestinians (the ones who didn't get 'Jordan'), and the Jews.

77% of the British Mandate [Jordan] and 99% of the Ottoman Land had gone to.... ARABS under various New and old names, previously. No vote of an International Body, just British whim (ie Iraq). Unlike the more legitimate Israel.

The remaining 23% was partitioned-for-rule/Sovereignty/NOT ownership betwen the remaining Resident Jews and Arabs; roughly 13/10 in favor of the Jews.
Arabs, ergo, ending up wit 87% of the Mandate.

And of the Jews 13%, 2/3 was [intentionally] State Land and owned by No Arab (passing from the Ottomans to the British to them) including the Half alone of Israel that is the Negev Desert.

No land was Stolen. No one was 'Kicked out'.
The Partition involved NO mandatory evacuations Nor land changing hands.
It was the Arab Started War that resulted in Refugees and Evacuated Land, Not the UN Resolution 181.

"Anti-zionists but we have nothing against the Jews as such"

      By Steven Plaut

Say What? Anti-Semites? Who, us anti-Zionists? US? We have nothing against Jews as such. We just hate Zionism and Zionists. We think Israel does not have a right to exist. But that does not mean we have anything against Jews as such. Heavens to Mergatroyd. Marx Forbid. We are humanists. Progressives. Peace lovers.

Anti-Semitism is the hatred of Jews. Anti-Zionism is opposition to Zionism and Israeli policies. The two have nothing to do with one another. Venus and Mars. Night and Day. Trust us.

Sure, we think the only country on the earth that must be annihilated is Israel. But that does not mean we have anything against Jews as such.

Naturally, we think that the only people on earth who should never be allowed to exercise the right of self-defense are the Jews. Jews should only resolve the aggression against them through capitulation, never through self-defense. But that does not mean we have anything against Jews as such.

We only denounce racist apartheid in the one country in the Middle East that is NOT a racist apartheid country. But that does not mean we have anything against Jews as such.

We refuse to acknowledge the Jews as a people, and think they are only a religion. We do not have an answer to how people who do not practice the Jewish religion can still be regarded as Jews. But that does not mean we have anything against Jews as such.

We think that all peoples have the right to self-determination, except Jews, and including even the make-pretend Palestinian "people". But that does not mean we have anything against Jews as such.

We demand that the only country in the Middle East with free speech, free press, or free courts be destroyed. But that does not mean we have anything against Jews as such.

We oppose military aggression, except when it is directed at Israel. But that does not mean we have anything against Jews as such.

We really understand suicide bombers who murder bus loads of Jewish children and we insist that their demands be met in full. But that does not mean we have anything against Jews as such.

We think the only conflict on earth that must be solved through dismembering one of the parties to that conflict is the one involving Israel. But that does not mean we have anything against Jews as such.

There are Jewish leftist anti-Zionists and we consider this proof that anti-Zionists could not possibly be anti-Semitic. Not even the ones who cheer when Jews are mass murdered. These are the only Jews we think need be acknowledged or respected. But that does not mean we have anything against Jews as such.

We do not think the Jews are entitled to their own state and must submit to being a minority in a Rwanda-style "bi-national state", although no other state on earth, including the 22 Arab countries, should be similarly expected to be deprived of its sovereignty. But that does not mean we have anything against Jews as such.

We think that Israel's having a Jewish majority and a star on its flag makes it a racist apartheid state.
We do not think Any other country having an ethnic-religious Majority or having crosses or crescents or "Allah Akbar" on its flag is racist or needs dismemberment. But that does not mean we have anything against Jews as such.

We have no trouble with the fact that there is no freedom of religion in any Arab countries. But we are mad at hell at Israel for violating religious freedom, and never mind that we are never quite sure where or when it does so. But that does not mean we have anything against Jews as such.

So how can you possibly say we are anti-Semites? We are simply anti-Zionists. We seek peace and justice, that's all. And surely that does not mean we have anything against Jews as such.

I grew up in Wanaque in Passaic county and played for Lakeland High School. I don't know how Lakeland ranks these days, during my day we were always in the top three, along with Bridgewater and Fairlawn. My Freshman year, 1991, we lost to Bridgewater during the regular season, but we beat them in the state finals match.
    15. WafflesFTW
Yeah, we were first in states last year. :D. Where are you from?
    16. Joker
Oh, Bridgewater. I remember the high school there from when I played volleyball as a teenager. Is the school stilled ranked as one of the top teams in the state?
    17. WafflesFTW
