Ex-Israeli premier Ehud Olmert has accused current PM Benjamin Netanyahu of spending $3 billion on a war with Iran that never took place.

(*)Olmert pointed out that the current leader “wasted” the money on “harebrained adventures that haven’t, and won’t, come to fruition.”

“We are dealing with expenditures that go above and beyond multi-year budgets,” Olmert also said in an interview with Israeli broadcaster Channel 2 News. “They scared the world for a year and in the end didn’t do anything.”

The former leader also pointed out that the money was spent on “security delirium”, and “the projects won’t be carried out because 2012 was the decisive year.” The ex-PM referred to the Israeli drive to toughen sanctions, and possibly engage in a military conflict, with Iran to interfere with the nuclear development in the country.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, along with Ehud Barak, the deputy PM and the defense minister, reacted to the ex-premier’s claims in an interview with Army Radio:salute: set to be aired on Sunday, IsraelNationalNews.com reported. Netanyahu called the former PM’s criticism “a bizarre, irresponsible thing to say.” The current leader also indicated, “We’ve done a lot to strengthen the IDF, Mossad and Shin Bet [the Israeli Security Service] in various ways.”

In fact, it’s not the first time that Benjamin Netanyahu has come under fire from former top Israeli politicians. Olmert commented on the anti-Iran drive back in May, saying “There is no reason at this time not to talk about a military effort, but definitely not to initiate an Israeli military strike.”

Tzipi Livni, the resigned leader of the centrist liberal Kadima party, joined the chorus of critics, saying that Netanyahu’s government is putting the existence of the Jewish state “in mortal danger” by ignoring growing international discontent. (Look, see, expect them to cover their own arse and sell each other out, in the fututre J )

“Israel is on a volcano, the international clock is ticking and you should not be the ‘chief of Shin Bet’ to understand that. The real danger is a politics that buries its head in the sand,” Livni pointed out.

Last week, the former head of Israeli Security Service (Shin Bet) Yuval Diskin accused Netanyahu of putting his own interests ahead of the state’s and of playing fast and loose with the country’s security.

"Bibi [Netanyahu] wants to go down in history as the person who did something on this size and scale. I have heard him belittle what his predecessors have done and assert that his mission on Iran is on a much grander scale," Yuval Diskin told Yediot. In particular, Diskin mentioned a meeting during which an attack on Iran was discussed, with Netanyahu eager to convince the leadership to launch an assault on Iran, The Times of Israel reported.

Netanyahu’s leadership comes under fire on the backdrop of calls from leading economists to cut the defense budget, or at least stop its expansion, Haaretz reported. Professor Manuel Trajtenberg, chair of the Israeli Council for Higher Education's planning and budgeting Committee, warned that Israel can’t sustain larger defense spending and that further increases would lead to financial collapse. Furthermore, the former director general of the Finance Ministry, Yarom Ariav, called to shake up the military establishment, reducing the massive armored corps and reconsidering the costly pension arrangements that prevail in the Israel Defense Forces, according to TheMarker.com.

As for the assault on Iran, Defense Minister Ehud Barak estimated at the end of October that Israel and its allies would have to take decision over a military solution of the stand-off in “eight to 10 months”, because sanctions and diplomacy would fail to curb Iran’s nuclear ambition, Britain's Daily Telegraph quoted him as saying.

The waves of criticism sweep the Netanyahu leadership just weeks before the election, and the current leader’s campaign has largely been focusing on bolstering defense in the country.

 The main moan is the money. Not really sure what the problem is, they just dip into the huge amounts of dollars that are literally taken from American pockets. Here come the ungrateful denials that if it were not for the US state robbing their people at source, and redirecting that money to Tel Aviv, Israel would have the defence budget of Latvia.

Tzipi Livni is clearly a bit smarter than most of the men in their politics, don't get me wrong, I do not give her a free pass, but her words have a lot of truth to them, albeit they have that charachteristic hysteria to them.

Meantime, Olmart speaks of “harebrained adventures that haven’t, and won’t, come to fruition.”

And does so without being very specific, to be honest. Did the artist charge $3b for the cartoon bomb pic?:woot:

The best insight into the mindset that I often cite on here as being abnormal, can be seen in these words..

Bibi [Netanyahu] wants to go down in history as the person who did something on this size and scale. I have heard him belittle what his predecessors have done and assert that his mission on Iran is on a much grander scale,"

See, normal people, they tend to want to be remembered for being the guy that cured cancer, or even just be a good dad or friend, or whatever. Even most lame assed leaders have some wishy washy ambitions, that are pretty innocous.

But..only he and they would even see this almost as a contest, which one of them in their short history, can cause or create the largest 'holocaust'.

    It ain't normal folks..

It's normal if you are a psychopath who believes human salvation and redemption can be attained through rapture.

Who does that though, save for the red neck types, in the US?

You don't think the key players who are Jews believe that drivel, do you?

They are 100% materialist, I think they play and use religion when it suits, and they have done well duping dopes, that is true.

But I think the real powers are 100% material people, their god is money, precious metals, oil, and of course, disproportionate power over the lives of others, in almost every sense. I sense they actually believe themselves as being 'gods'. It is a delusional disconnect of course, but certainly, it makes them dangerous.

If they promote anything, they promote anti values, like lying, torture, abuse of minors, murder of pregnant women, rape, threat of rape, theft, murder in general, mutilation of innocents, etc, etc, etc.

They think these things are to be proud of, that is why the normal world looks at them wide eyed.

    Indeed.

'Tis said Einstein was an opponent of 'Zionism', and spoke out against it. Benny is no Hitler. Based on this. Germany at least fought opponents that were more than capable of fighting back, or attacking them first even. Nor did he piggy back on another nation. Netenyahu would not engage in a battle with an opponent of equal or greater might. That's why they have turned the US into their golem.

Only $3 billion? Why, that's approximately the amount Israel fleeces US taxpayers for annually, in 'aid'. Never mind Mr.Netanyahu, those feeble Americans, whom you so readily mock and ridicule for their gullibility, will send you lots more of their dollars, because their nation is so financially sound right now.

We certainly will, as much as required and requested. Could someone remind me how many times Israel was attacked by hordes of Arabs?

I know. They will deny this, of course, and claim that it really is their money, and how Israel do not need American to prop it up.

Therefore, arrogant and ungrateful, on top of all else.

US taxpayers paid more to Israeli defense budget than Israelis

The Israeli army’s chief of staff states that in the past three years, “US taxpayers have contributed more to the Israeli defense budget than Israeli taxpayers,” according to a report in the Jerusalem Post, a prominent Israeli newspaper.

According to the report, Lieutenant-General Gabi Ashkenazi made the statement during a speech on September 11th. In it he emphasized: “We must preserve ties with the United States. I believe this is a security necessity.”

According to the newspaper the speech was at the Calcalist Conference, which appears to be an annual event in Tel Aviv sponsored by the Calcalist newspaper, an Israeli Hebrew-only daily financial newspaper. It is is part of the group that publishes Yedioth Ahronoth, the largest circulation newspaper in Israel.

American taxpayers give Israel over $3 billion per year (over $8 million per day), more than to any other nation, despite the fact that Israel is smaller than New Jersey and is in the top 30 richest countries in the world. (Suckers)

Per capita, Israelis receive $10,000 more U.S. tax money than average.

Some of the other top recipients of US tax money, Egypt and Jordan, were provided this assistance in return for diplomatic recognition of the Israeli state.

According to the Congressional Research Service, Israel is given this money in a lump sum at the beginning of the fiscal year. Americans then pay interest on money they have given to Israel, while Israel makes interest on it.:worship:

In recent years Israel has reported a lower unemployment rate than the US and a better account balance

Ashkenazi’s statements are extremely significant, since this is the first time that an Israeli leader has pointed out that American taxpayers pay more to Israel’s defense budget than do Israelis.

If the costs of the Iraq war, which was largely pushed by Israel partisans in the Bush administration, were added into the equation, the American tax money on behalf of Israel would quite likely dwarf the amount paid by Israeli taxpayers.

Some top economists predict that the cost of the Iraq war will be $3 trillion.

Israel has a population of about 7 million people.

Today, Israel partisans are similarly pushing attacks on Iran.

Israel has frequently been accused of using American funds in violation of U.S. arms control laws.

    Ashkenazi and War Crimes Accusations

IN 2010 Turkey issued an arrest warrant for Ashkenazi for Israeli forces’ killing of 9 civilians, including one who held American citizenship.

In 2008 a complaint was filed at the Hague accusing Ashkenazi of war crimes. Accusers stated:

On 27th December 2008, the suspect, Chief of Staff, ordered the Israeli army to attack densely populated areas in the Gaza Strip. For three weeks, 1,500 tons of bombs were dropped from the air on residential neighborhoods in Gaza and tens of thousands of artillery shells were fired from tanks. For 3 weeks, the army damaged and destroyed houses, schools, hospitals, infrastructure, water and electrical plants, killed more than 1,300 people, hundreds of them children, and injured about 5,300 people. Thousands of houses were bombed or shelled and 50,000 residents were made homeless, without shelter.

Prior to this, the suspect was part of a group, which implemented a siege on 1.5 million people in the Gaza Strip, denying them a regular supply of food, water, medicine, fuel and electricity for 18 months.

According to international law, it is absolutely prohibited to bomb residential areas in a way that interrupts the lives of civilians; to carry out executions without trial, to collectively punish; to destroy or damage hospitals, schools and homes. The prohibitions against collective punishment were enshrined in the Geneva Conventions after the behavior of the Nazis in Europe during World War II when they destroyed entire villages to punish residents for sheltering the resistance. 194 countries agree with the prohibitions of the Fourth Geneva Convention.

In December 2008, a complaint was filed in the Hague against the suspect, on suspicion that he had committed war crimes and crimes against humanity for ordering the siege of Gaza.

Yeah, you give money to Jordan & Egypt as an incentive to 'recongise Israel'.

And to Pakistan, for reasons best known to your admin.

Also, check out of population of Egypt to that of Israel.

Do you see anything, like a much smaller number of people getting a much larger amount? Any little dots starting to form yet?

Yes money does make the world go around.

We do give Israel a good bit of money, but we also buy oil from OPEC which goes to mainly Arab states. Do you know most Arabs in the Middle East get a monthly check for their oil? Most arabs don't even work, cause instead they use Foreign workers.

We send everyone a couple billion here, a couple million there. It keep the global economy stable and prices low. So what if it costs us a couple here, when we get a bigger return in the end?

Does a 'global market' = Americans keep getting fleeced by Israel.

Seriously, if you are American, and not a Jewish Zionist - have some pride and integrity.

There are thousands of Americans on bread lines - many of them veterans. Charity begins at home, not aboard. Our Founding Fathers said to promote the common welfare, not the welfare of Zionist imperialistic terrorists.

Behold....Ashkenazi raises over $20m. at IDF fundraiser in NY

Hundreds of protestors march outside the $1000-a-plate gala at the Waldorf-Astoria.

Even as protestors outside the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel decried the guest of honor – Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi – donors pledged six-figure sums, topping $20 million by the end of the night. Inside a glittering ballroom, Friends of the Israel Defense Forces staged a theatrical show that tugged on the heartstrings – and purse strings – of the nearly 1,400 in attendance.

    Hold that thought now...

The number of dead U.S. soldiers whose remains were dumped in landfill has been revealed and it is much higher than the military originally admitted

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-dumped-landfill-sites-revealed-Army-274.html

Over 75,000 US military personnel face the predicament of homelessness after they return home from US-led wars abroad, feeling the burden of increased mental pressure.

According to data published by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, the number of US veterans, homeless on any given night as of June this year, stands at a staggering 75,700, a Press TV correspondent reported Friday.

    Not puked yet?

In fact, ABC News counted Netanyahu received 29 standing ovations during his address to Congress – in contrast to the 25 that Obama received during his State of the Union address earlier in the year.

    Not enough yet?

The Israeli newspaper Ma’ariv on Wednesday reported that Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu told an audience at Bar Ilan university that the September 11, 2001 terror attacks had been beneficial for Israel.

“We are benefiting from one thing, and that is the attack on the Twin Towers and Pentagon, and the American struggle in Iraq,” Ma’ariv quoted the former prime minister as saying. He reportedly added that these events “swung American public opinion in our favor.”

    http://www.globalresearch.ca/netanyahu-says-9-11-terror-attacks-good-for-israel/8738

And now let us end with this...

    Netanyahu boasting about Manipulating America

    A) Morons that know nothing at all, outwith Fox News and Pamela Gellar.

    B) People that know the truth, but lie.

    C) Traitors and infiltrators and subversives.

It could not be more clear if I sang it, in a love song...

Yep. In light of that the fact that billions of dollars go to America-hating Palestinian and Egyptian Islamonazi terrorists, to America-hating Pakistani enablers of the Taliban, that trillions are stolen from the American treasury and from the pockets of the American people by America-hating OPEC Arab cartel is truly disguising. Let alone that America pays to protect Europe from Russia, South Korea and Japan from North Korea etc, let alone that America pays the lion's share of the UN revenue and that of a bunch of other useless, international, anti-American bureaucracies.

Israel attacked in December of 1947 and again in 1967 when Egyptian troops were deployed in Yemen.
