Nowhere in the Bible does it state that Moses was barred from the promise land for killing 3000.

What is interesting about the 3000 is that all these people would have seen God perform miracles with their own eyes.

It is one thing to have belief based on "faith" but, to have witnessed God with your own eyes. Now that would be something.

OK .... so Moses (Gods chosen messenger) goes up the mountain for a few weeks.

Right away the people make a Golden Calf and worship it. What is even more strange is that Moses's own brother, Aaron is the one that is leading these people.

    1) Moses own brother seems not to have much faith
    2) The people did not seem to have much faith
    3) When the Moses returned there were a large number of people that went against someone they knew was Gods chosen

    The miracles didn't happen.

Moses was a military leader. What he was really asking his people was "are you with me or against me".

As any good military leader he put down the rebellion quickly. Later editors had some vivid imaginations.

Not in addressing humans or a particular ethnicity. You can use it ot address actual monkeys.

Thank you now that you clarify, I now disagree with you because we are very different from apes, but if you think you are no different from apes that is fine with me.

You just posted a link from wiki that clearly specify that humans and apes came a common ancestor called Primate not ape and you keep insisting that the primate is an ape even though scientist are not sure.

    Again you are contradicting science;
Hominoidea contains two families of living (extant) species:
Hylobatidae consists of four genera and sixteen species of gibbon, including the lar gibbon and the siamang. They are commonly referred to as lesser apes.
Hominidae consists of orangutans, gorillas, chimpanzees, bonobos and humans.[1][2] Alternatively, the hominidae family are collectively described as the great apes.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ape
Pay attention to the word SPECIES.

The N word was never a racist word before the European started to misuse it the N word originated from the Spanish word negro means black, White racist people started to misuse that word to discriminate and degrade black or darker skin people the same way European scientist misuse the word ape.

Where does it say God does not want Egypt to worship Him? Not to convert to Hebrewism, but to worship the True God the God that would later be confirm as the Christian God. And it came to pass, Egyptians did converted to Christianity and became known as Coptic Christians.

No one, Christ willingly sacrifice himself.
John 18:11 Jesus commanded Peter, “Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?”

12 Then the detachment of soldiers with its commander and the Jewish officials arrested Jesus. They bound him 13 and brought him first to Annas, who was the father-in-law of Caiaphas, the high priest that year.

In the Bible Paul said that the Jews did it.

In the Babylonian Talmud they boast about how they killed Jesus five different ways.

Interesting factoid gleaned from my studies.

It was actually 23,000 killed, not 3000 !

    By reason of circular logic.

Most modern Bibles have the number 3000. If you go to oldest Bibles it is 23,000.

Below is a passage from the Vulgate. Exodus 32

    http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus 32&version=KNOX

When you compare old Bibles such as these to modern versions there are many significant changes.

(I would not classify this example as that significant because the main idea remains intact)

The Bible gives the number of 600,000 men on foot. Factor in the wives, children and the mixed multitude that accompanied them and the total estimate goes to 3-4 million.

So based on things not said, you just make up things? BTW - we are referring to this time frame of exodus, not some later dates.

So that is it? No egyptian record? No outside authority?
2 pieces of evidence and not one by the well documented history of egypt?

Funny, moses died in 2488 according to wanren, but led the exodus 1000 yrs later according to wanren. And many had the exodus around 1250BC in the times of Ramses.
I guess if it were documented, it wouldn't be so hard to nail dates down.

I think "thou shall not kill" should be take to mean.

Thou shall not kill other humans unless you have a very good reason.

Obviously we have to kill plants and/or animals to survive.
The OT Laws prescribe killing for some crimes and God orders much killing in the OT (sometimes even innocent women and children).

Given these facts it is a pretty outlandish stretch to claim that "though shall not kill" applied universally.

I think it was pretty clear to all at that time that it meant: Going out and randomly killing another person is bad.

Disqualified. All you are saying is "I never heard this before, so it must not be worth thinking about." Netwits are such slaves of stupid and dishonest professionals ("Oh yeah, then how did they get their jobs?") and haters of originality, self-education, and independence.
