You have to wonder at some point if North Korea hasn't become suicidal. I think that we know what China's true intentions are through the actions of North Korea as they are primarily backed by China. I think that if we see North Korea talked off the ledge then we'll see that China values us because of how much money we send their way in interest payments each month on our national debt. Then again, maybe China thinks it's time for foreclose on us by drawing us into an international conflict with North Korea.

[h=1]North Korea ends peace pacts with South[/h]
SEOUL - North Korea announced Friday it was voiding non-aggression pacts with South Korea and severing a hotline with Seoul, hours after the UN Security Council adopted tough new sanctions on Pyongyang.

North Korea "abrogates all agreements on non-aggression reached between the North and the South", the state-run Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) said in a statement.

No world war will be triggered by North korea.

No one could care less about it anymore (clue: severed hotline with Seoul).

North Korea hasn't got a reliable delivery system and the weapons that they've developed are far too large for an ICBM. Add to that, any attempt to detonate a nuclear weapon in proximity to US forces in South Korea would result in the complete destruction of North Korea.

the world war is building as the divide of east/west continues. The west supporting the sob of the middle east is perhaps the single worst thing because the affect is global (airports..etc)

I have claimed for almost a decade, that as soon as 1 nuke is used on a population, the east is going to shut down the west, immediately. It will keep as must waste on this side of the lake as possible.

People fear that the whole world will be blow up which is bull. There has already been over 2800 nuclear detonations on this earth and few even know that. There has been nuclear waste circling this earth for half a century and few are even aware.

Anyway ..... china, russia, india ........ combine and shut down the west.

That is what ww3 will be about!

Israel wont even last the first couple hours!

Although North Korea are rattling their sabres more vehemently these days, we can still sleep easy.

I doubt they could launch a nuke far enough to escape the missile silo.

They are resorting to a nuclear threat because they are being bullied and are probably trying to get the world to back off with their sanctions.

I can't have much sympathy for their government so long as they continue to brutalize their own population in such a barbaric fashion.

North Korea is the one country in the world I would actually support a war against besides Israel. Not because of a threat to the outside world but because of the need for liberation.

Has there ever been a reason not to invade North Korea? any reason not to get rid of that tumor?

This is why they should not be allowed nuclear weapons. The same goes for Iran.

The truth is no one knows what capabilities North Korea actually have. You are all guessing.

If Press TV had a headline that Iran could intercept and land an American drone without a scratch the whole USA would have laughed

    then they did..................

in a week or two we will see if Gianfranco or Angelo adopt the name Peter

    Not any time recently.

We invade the countries we don't need to, and don't invade the countries that do. Why didn't they attack NK nuke facilities before they could get their bomb?

It has nuclear weapons, military-sized zodiacs, and Sweden has a long coastline that is dark at night.

Yes yes, a pathetic little country that doesn't even have the capability to send a missile to the USA is threatening to bomb it because it's all they can do.

As with N. Korea, Iran has no delivery system capable of boosting the size warhead N. Korea has manufactured.

Conservatives hate North Korea because they are communists.
Progressives hate North Korea because the North Korean leadership refuses to go along with their international plan for ethnic diversity.

I'm not saying the North Korean government is not oppressive, but what I am saying is that there are biased political reasons why the Western media tries to constantly demonize them.
