The great thing about a free society is it will eventually right itself as soon as people realize their quality of life is less than it was before. Here is the thing I will never understand. The right spends most of its time insulting the left in threads like this with hyperbolic craziness. The is always going to be some who show sympathy for someone who they think was duped. But all the liberals I know are not showing sympathy, some have even gone to the darkside of asking the doctors to "slip up" with the morphine. Seems to me this is another thread telling liberals what they think and then attacking them for it.

Terrorism is one of the few situations in which my belief in having no death penalty is shaken. It would, however, be nice if we all realised the grief caused by terrorism in the middle east perpetrated by groups originally funded and organized by the US and US allies. Iam not saying in any way that this terror attack was a good thing, but perhaps good will come of it if Americans can sympathise with those affected by terrorism in the middle east.

You know, duping.....the police forced them to get on video planting the bombs, then they saw themselves on tv, so they asked a police officer for directions but accidently shot and killed him, in running away the older brother got cold, so he found a vest and put it on but it turns out he accidently picked up one rigged with more explosives, so then they found a car, that someone else was driving, and when they were driving down the road apparently they needed more leg room, so they started tossing out more pressure cooker bombs exactly like the ones they were seen placing at the bombing all while there was another cop car behind them with blue lights on for no reason. I know that kinda stuff could happent to all of us.

I think you'll see progressives busily trying to claim (when they aren't writing love letters to the Boston Bomber ) that the older bomber misled the poor 19 year old man-child with a misunderstanding of the beatiful religion of Islam. I think you are right. Progressive live in a self-centered universe that revolves around them and their wants and needs. If one of their loved ones had their legs blown off, they would be howling for blood, but strangers are meaningless to them.
