Growing Sympathy for the 2nd marathon Bomber

There seems to be a growing sympathy developing for the 2nd Marathon Bomber. Maybe he was influenced by his older brother or whatever. I'm not buying it.
If there was any doubt Dzhokhar is a complete and evil sociopath, this statement from his friend (who called him Jahar) about their meeting the day after the bombing, eliminated it in my mind:

I don't care who you are or what your cause, there is something deep inside which tells each of us that blowing up and killing innocent civilians is wrong. It is evil. There is no escaping it. No one who is not purely evil, could escape the feeling that would be like a knife in the heart of any normal person.
When I look at the photos of the brothers before the bombing, I see the elder wearing a hat with the brim covering his face. I see sunglasses covering his eyes. The fear and trepidation of someone who is doing something they know is wrong, shows in his face.
But Dzhokhar? His hat is on backwards. No sunglasses. He is calm and relaxed. And the day after his horrific act? He meets his friends and they can't tell anything is wrong. Only a true sociopath could keep from breaking out in tears or at least showing SOME kind of stress. Ony a truly evil person could calmly chat with his pals as if nothing happened.
I believe in compassion.
I believe in forgiveness.
But if a dog is rabid, it is insane and dangerous to everyone around it.
You put it down.
I have absolutely no sympathy for this monster.

There is certainly something wrong with these two (was, in the case of the older brother), that's not explainable by ideological conditioning alone. It's one thing to have a strong world view, one which might create a burning hatred within, but it's an entirely different thing which allows someone to go from thinking about something, to actually doing it.

He believed with all his being that he was acting in the interest of his Satanic god Allah. Why would he act alarmed? Sympathy? Who cares about his worthless ass, once he gives the vital information the FBI needs to arrest all others involved he can be tried, convicted, and sentenced to forever and a day in jail, or execution if it is not part of the deal to get the information, and he can rot in obscurity in federal prison.

I think it is a tragedy that someone who could have offered so much to civilization spat upon it. I can shed a tear for what was lost, but not for what they became; if they had lost a limb before becoming a terrorist its burial spot should be respected, the limbs they retained as terrorists discarded as inhuman trash.

Scum bag killed a kid, two young women and left many others damaged for life. I have absolutely no sympathy or tolerance for people who would do this and hope they get everyone who knew about it or aided them in any way. The best deterrent is very harsh punishment for anyone involved regardless of how benign their support. I'm hoping the Russians will help bring anyone that doesn’t reside in the US to justice and I imagine they will as they know the horrors of terrorism as well as anyone.
