But he is an American in a uniform, and is therefore a hero by default. One of our brave boys...

Why don't you tell us all about these "celebrations", Abu.

Contrary to your xenophobic rant, this man is currently on trial for murder. How does that fit in with your idiotic "celebration" narrative? :flip:

Indeed. If he's an example of what democracy brings forth, then it's best it's done away with completely.

You obviously understand nothing about governmental systems or history - democracy is an unstable form of government.

America was founded as a republic - which in terms of freedom, is the only stable, sustainable form of government.

Leftists, i.e. communists, socialists, fascists, nazis, progressives, democrats, et al, cannot abide living in a free society - it is simply not in their nature. Their nature is to control, manipulate, and take from by force; hence, their instinct to build governmental systems that allow them to do these things to their neighbors and their society. Democracy fits the bill perfectly.

Unfortunately for everyone, democracies are fatally parasitic - Marx understood this, which is why he recognized democracy as a transition to communism.

It is history 101. Crack a book, you might learn something.

I don't seem to recall incessant saturation news coverage over the course of a week or so about this guy.

I guess he's the wrong kind of terrorist.

Ah, yep, he slaughtered 'camel jockeys' and 'brown' skinned men, women and children, so that'll explain it.

I agree up to the part that democracy cant handle those, so far the US is a good example it can for a very long while now, this security steps are needed as tech developes, it wasnt needed before but it is now, all in all It sounds very logical and needed to me.

What a revolting post.. You're saying trying to provoke somebody by destroying their property, people who otherwise wouldn't attack, into attacking, just to kill somebody for a thrill, is a good thing?

A common feature of the Islamic extremists and terrorists is hatred and bloodlust, getting off on death. Obviously, this is not a unique trait just to Muslim terrorists.

You should talk. I bet you were okay with Bush going into Iraq and destroying it, killing many, for what?

Unfortunately not, but check yourself before you go accusing others.

Committing crimes is good. Reporting crimes is bad.. That's it right?

    - - - Updated - - -

I've never advocated for any war or violence including Iraq, so you bet wrong.

Show some proof that a crime was committed.

And obviously, oaths don't mean squat to you. So If Obama decides to go against the Constitution, you're going to be okay with it, right?

So, you are against war, even in defense of the country?

There's a bit of scuttlebutt going the rounds-and I doubt anyone-other than the protagonists knows the truth !

According to the rumor, Edward Snowden was actually a CIA "plant" (who didn't even KNOW he was being used as a plant),and who went through all sorts of gyrations to bring the Chinese top secret data---with the unannounced
    approval of the CIA.

The data, of course has been very skillfully "tainted", and, if used, will harm the "thief" in a mind-boggling variety of ways !:omg:

This happened once before-in the 1960's: the Soviets were trying to steal some high-tech computer chips in Canada, and the person they "recruited" promptly notified the Royal Mounted Police-who handled national security matters back in the day.

The Mounties shared their info with the CIA, and the CIA furnished a set of "tainted" computer chips for the KGB to steal. The KGB agents went for the bait like hungry sharks, and were treated as heros --until the stolen chips started doing their thing.

Oil pipelines experienced massive pump failures, valves that were supposed to open stayed close, etc., etc. etc.

The Russians eventually replaced their computers-at huge cost- but never did figure out what had gone wrong !

If today's "water fountain rumor" is true , the Chinese and Edward Snowden might have a lot to talk about !!:icon_jawdrop:

What is privacy when wars had been wage before,
when lives were lost and total freedom as a way of life restricted,
I'd rather sleep soundly at night than preventing the butt of Jerry Springer being busted,
Well, I have nothing to hide on which what they wish to seek, I'm fine.
Lastly, Edward I think is a very private person.:)

Like others before him, let us not forget, such as Manning and Assange.
