Deficit spending and national debt are not the same. Case in point, Obama's tenure.

During the past few years, the R Congress has accomplished little due to stonewalling of the D Senate. Obama's circumventing the Constitution hasn't helped either.

I'm not sure, but I didn't think the phony Obama would be elected either.

I could support Rand Paul for sure, but he has a name stigma also! Time will tell.

The climate was created by Clinton's incompetence, and Clinton setting up the 9-11 attack which depressed investments and increased spending.

The longest sustained period of growth post WWII, 22 million additional jobs created, poverty levels dropping to all time lows, stock markets tripling even with the correction, the unemployment rate dropping to the lowest level in decades, real incomes rising for all classes, and the best average GDP growth since the 1960s. Oh yeah, and a then record deficit turning into a surplus.

Lordy, we need another "incompetent" president like Clinton in the White House.

Ahhh... so Clinton was responsible for 9/11.

Perhaps we should compensate Osama's family.

This is the biggest you-know-what I have EVER read. First I hear how Clinton mainly was responsible for our huge debt. After I refute that with a post about how the Clinton Presidency ended with an actual SURPLUS, then comes this post railing on Clinton's incompetency being the cause for the 9-11 attacks. Such Hogwash!!! The total answer to debt and war is written in one word: BUSH. Why in the Lord's name would any sane human ever even consider another President from that familial line?

Promises? Who said anything about me making any promises? Screw that, I'm gonna play it by ear. Hopefully I'll be able to install a life sized version of foosball installed on the White House lawn.

    Unrelated, nice avi.

We need another Bush about as bad as we need another disgraceful Clinton or B.O. If I were a Texan (like the poster who started this tread) I'd be all for Cruz but in a perfect world, Allen West would run and not waste his talents on trying to be a senator. I saw another poster talk highly of Rubio....which is another thing wrong with the Republican Party and why turnouts were low with Mittens Romney. We've had it up to our eyeballs with rhinos and old farts like McShame. I truly fear that over-the-Hill-ory will be the first ugly woman president if WE continue running the likes of "Jeb", "Mittens" or the "Whitest Man in America". It seems that we continue to run a rhino and expect a "wild card" like Palin or Ryan to even things out but REAL conservatives see RIGHT through it. Anyone should have easily beat B.O. but here we are wasting "fo mo" on this big-eared galoot. I'm sick of it and swore to never vote another "PEROT" ticket but I'm thinking I'll have to.......(IF) we survive the rest of B.O. and however long Slick Willie's wife will probably serve.

Clinton weakened the military, refused to take Bin Laden more than once, did not enforce sanctions, was a weak CIC, so yes he contributed greatly to 9-11 !

The artificial tech stocks and housing bubble Clinton mainly created caused false numbers that haunted us after he left office. The economy was on a downstroke before Clinton left office. The R congress was able to salvage some sanity, but were not without blame also.

Bush was the one who FAILED to get Bin Laden, so chew on that for awhile. And Bill Clinton was never a stock broker so he never created any stocks. Wake up and begin to realize that the R congress only helped Bush Jr. created the biggest deficit in History, which in turn led to today's huge deficit in order to overcome the damage Bush inflicted.

McCain's foreign policy mirrors Obama's foreign policy.

I've never read much Breitbart stuff. I guess you libs celebrate his death though. What little I know about the Breitbart organization tells me the libs are scared of them. Of course, libs can't handle facts and truth!

While I know that if Bush is a candidate, he'll drag with him the rest of the Republican platform, much of which is rooted in folly and wealth worship, but I did like his comments about education and think he's right on the money there.

You seem to while away your hours guessing about many things, with abysmal success. Why not familiarize yourself with objective reality instead?

Rightists' affinity for media entertainers in preference to actual, democratic governance is, of itself, a radical retreat from reality. Why do you need to abscond from it even further?

Obviously I know all about stockbrokers as I have used them all my adult life. I am not saying "they" create stocks, just that they make the trades that occur with the existing "shares" of companies. Bill Clinton was never the owner of a company--at least not to my knowledge--so he couldn't have actually created any shares of stock, and I never heard of his working for any broker, since he was a lawyer and a politician, that is what I was trying to say. I apologize for the mis-statement of a stock broker creating stocks.

If you say so, BUT I sure don't think McCain would have been set on getting the U.S. out of war like Obama has done.

That's just the way many politicians are. They see a gain of an INCH and soon it has been stretched (at least in their minds) to a MILE.
