So it's the Republicans fault that young uninsured Americans won't buy health insurance...

From politifact to factcheck. That is quite a set up. I was almost worried you'd produce your own thoughts for a second...

Either way, Massachusetts was pretty low on the list in Job Growth and in Wages. Doesn't really sound like much of a good indicator to me.

When you are the party shutting down that opportunity in one of those states, what do you think?

After five years of success, what indicators are you looking for when approval is in the eighty something percentile and 98% are covered and the program is holding its own? Job growth was stagnant back when Romney was governor, so I'm not sure I catch your drift.

Losses for republicans??? Losses for everyone actually. The fact you think the govt covering up Benghazi is a good thing makes you insane. Same with fast and furious. Getting away with it makes you giddy??? Again, insane. The IRS playing favorites??? Way to go being happy about that. I won't mention the others. Your happiness over govt fraud and lies is disturbing and is what will lead to a future commonly seen in sci fi movies. Hopeless. YeAh keep cheering as the govt has less and less oversight. When you're lined up waiting for your food and water happy for whatever scraps your leaders are willing to give you remember this post....and cry.

Got to give it to Obama; his presidency is indeed a success if you consider his objective was to fundamentally transform America. He' done it. We're now officially a Banana States of America. Not quite a third world country, but getting there; we already command just as much respect, as them.

(*)(*)(*)(*)! I kinda liked our country the way it was, before Community Agitator made his campaign promise.

Dutch, it ain't that bad ! Why do you right wingers feel like the world is coming to an end ? He's been our president for 5 years and we're still here. I know you don't like the guy for many reasons, and many legit ones at that - but you gotta stop with this doomsday rhetoric. He's just a liberal president and is acting like one.

So, does this "surge" of young people include toddlers? I heard that is exactly what they are doing. Gallup said so, as a matter of fact. Can't do that. Can't claim include toddler who aren't paying anything...who aren't actually paying a premium just to make themselves look good.

For heaven's sakes! Why don't they just provide us the breakdown of what they are including in EACH of their claims?????? (I know; silly question.....because we already know the answer)

The way they cook unemployment numbers, why should we expect these figures to have any truth to them?

Eight million? Three weeks ago it was seven million.... Ah, hell, let's make it however many "million" we like. As long as the claims are completely undocumented by anyone other than Obamanite cheerleaders, who knows? Who cares? :cheerleader:

The only (ONLY) things that matter in assessing the financial viability of any kind of health insurance system is HOW MANY PEOPLE PAID, and/or HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE GIVEN THE DE FACTO WELFARE HANDOUT OF "SUBSIDIES"? What glory is there in this socialized medicine scheme to have claimed that X-number of people were "signed up"? That's bull****!

Where's the money?! How much of it is there? Any idiot can go and "sign people up" to go suck on any one of a dozen government give-away programs that are free or heavily subsidized. That means NOTHING. The success or failure of this thing depends on how financially viable it is -- and no amount of hyperliberal cheerleading is a substitute for the reality of economics!

    Some facts and personal admissions:

I do not trust Barack Obama.
Nearly every word that has come out of his mouth over the past six years or more has been either a lie or a broken promise.
Numerous objective fact-checkers all across the nation and the internet will validate this obvious state of affairs.

I do not trust the IRS, and haven't for well over 25 years.
And now that they have grown in both size and power, (and in light of the IRS 501(c)(3) scandal),I trust them even less.

I do not trust Jay Carney, since he has a proven track record for weak, obsequious carrying of the water for his dishonest boss.

Kathleen Sebelius admitted in front of the CSPAN cameras that she had no idea how many signed up, and admitted that there were no back-door mechanisms built into the obabmacare website protocols to even capture such numbers.

    So, original poster;
Why exactly would you (or anybody else for that matter) believe this '8 million signed-up' figure?

    Okay, now my theory:
Is is not so much that die-hard Obama supporters even believe such numbers themselves,
but it is more a matter that
the entire Obamacare law and rollout is such an unmitigated disaster that they want to believe any good numbers, no matter how false and trumped up they likely are.

A shameless Obama shill, a real agitprop font, shills shamelessly for years right up to the launch in October. ObombaCare craps the bed. EVERYONE knows it's a Big Fed Big FAIL. Shameless shill goes into hidey hole. Even he is too embarrassed to shill for what the entire world can see is a POS.

Now Ezra and Obama have declared premature victory after it's been proven that government SUCKS AT EVERYTHING. Shameless shill returns to shamelessly shill.

New day, same old lies. No shame.

    Nice.

It's a mix of rationalization and cognitive dissonance. Nobody wants to take ownership of their support for a lying sack of crap president. So they ignore the lies by lying to themselves.

    you need to calm down.
Obamacare doesn't exist as an insurance policy - it's just a law that makes it mandatory to buy insurance from a private company.
quit acting like it's socialized medicine which it's not.
one day we'll have real single payer and then you can, maybe, complain.

Sure, sure leftist. Inhale the propagandic pap that has you believing numbers which couldn't even be ascertained to the million decimal point in February, but magically nailed the projections at the last possible minute, and now, are not only piling on an additional million, but the demographic of this fantasy million is even assured.

Newsflash: if the mystical 20% of the total of uninsured in this country have subsidized plans, you can bet your sweet bippy it's socialized medicine. Stop with the nonsensical moving target regarding the definition of Socialism. We can all see that it is, and how it will continue to perpetrate a more enveloping form of it.

No! Believe it or not, if we are going to have some mandatory government health system rammed down our throats, then it should be the single-payer system! I've been raving about this ever since the Obamacare fraud was upheld by the Supreme Court. I've written paragraph after paragraph about this, but it boils down to this: everyone who is part of a single-payer system contributes to the system, and everyone enjoys of the benefit of the coverage provided by what would be the largest customer-bloc for health insurance in the United States! We would get the best health service, at the lowest price, precisely because we would exert the largest pressure for competition. Also, a single-payer national system would provide the same coverage throughout the country. There would be no more of this nonsense in which healthcare in, say, Alabama, is different from what's available in, say, Idaho, or New York.

Anyone not paying into the system would continue to get their healthcare for free from the Medicaid welfare system, so, any fears that hyperlibs would have about "throwing the sick out on the street" would not happen. But, they wouldn't be part of the same system that others have worked and PAID for, either....

Are you surprised that any arch-Conservative would advocate single-payer as I have? We're not quite as stupid as you Libs think we are....

Until the breakdown in numbers is presented to us we will never know if the enrollments were a success. You would think that something costing the tax payers 20k per enrollment would work perfectly.

    I want the real numbers.

How many previously had insurance, got cancelled, and were forced to buy Obamacare?

The real % of young (not pregnant) enrollees.

How many that took the expanded Medicare previously had insurance?

How many paid? I tested the CA website in October and was able to get my plan in the cart along with getting my SS # comprimised. Technically Im one of 8 million except Im never going to pay. I am dual insured with my wife already as a precautionary measure to protect me against this socialist program if one of us looses a job.

All I see going on now is a huge fight between parties that muddles up the reality of the situation. The liberal media is painting it as a success to help the dems/libs/socialists/commies keep the Senate in the fall while the GOP is calling it a failure until they see the non cooked numbers.

I believe there is still a lot to happen when people not knowingly go to their normal doctor and find that they have to pay a huge penalty for an out of network doctor. Many poor people won't even pay the premiums and if they do they won't be able to pay for the deductible.

The facts are most of these people who signed up are getting pretty much free healthcare at a cost of 20k a piece to tax payers. That is not a good deal and if you think it is I got some land in Florida to sell you.
