I am greek and German and my children are greek, german and ? since my wife is adopted (though I think she is Jewish or Italian). My sisters kids are Greek, german, and African and their children will be even more diluted. Lets face it in a hundred years we will all be a very lite tan and there is nothing wrong with that.

Marijuana will probably be legal in the near future. As an avid pot smoker, I'd be pumped, but I can't imagine harder drugs ever being legalized. So no matter, the war on drugs will continue for as long as I live. Let's say that we do decriminalize all drugs. Do you think the gangs will simply let their revenue stream go? There's an interesting book written by an ATF agent, and for the life of me I can't remember the title even after having read it within the last year or so, who actually went undercover as a Hell's Angel. He found out, as most who grew up relatively poor, that there are many, many ways of making money illegally. The Hell's Angels did everything from running guns, to stealing shipments, to assassinations, prostitution, to security, to bribing politicians and LEO. Gangs will always exist. Particularly, as in the area the link referenced, the youth and children growing up in the areas are often indoctrinated into the gang life before they've hit puberty. Hispanics in Compton need protection from blacks, and the other way around, and because you decriminalize marijuana (I say weed because, again, I can't see recreational coke ever being a real thing), won't change the fact that the two groups hate each other. Murders, revenge murders, revenge revenge murders, and so on and so on until the end of time. That will never change.
The 1960's was far worse. Started becoming more and more non white years ago. POTUS is half black and favors the rich. Reagan passed amnesty in 1986. I think he was white.
