Hoards of democrats descended upon Alaska during and even after the election and filed frivolous lawsuits, FOIA requests, stalked her and her family, and attacked her and her children. The harassment was costing the state millions of dollars. She decided that it was best for the people to resign.

Now those who attacked would criticize her no matter what her decision was now wouldn't they? They were out for blood. They forced her out.

Blaming Palin for doing the right thing at that point is like blaming a rape victim for being raped. This is what liberal misogynists do.

If you want to use that as an excuse to attack Gov. Palin it's like taking the side of the rapist.

Or you could respect her for doing the right thing for the people of Alaska and ending the circus the media and the liberals were putting upon all the people of Alaska. What they did was a disservice to the people of Alaska and the ire should be aimed at them, not the Palin family.

Who increased spending? Reagan did. his increase in defense spending accounts for nearly all his spending increases. Cutting taxes, increasing spending is Reagan legacy. He started with a $70 billion spending deficit and $900 billion in debt and left us with a $150 billion deficit and $2.8 trillion debt.

An interesting perspective, but I suspect those who like her will support her no matter what and those who dislike her will never support her. But the RNC & DNC are inconsequential as it is independents like me who decide Presidental elections. As I identify myself as liberal she will probably be too conservative for me... which presents a problem for both parties... If a candidate leans too far to the right or left they keep their base at the expense of the center and they cannot win on their base alone.

Well I am conservative obviously. My number one issue is the national debt. It is intergenerational theft and it is unsustainable. If this issue is not addressed with the election of a republican, it will not be addressed. The country will be bankrupted. It will effect our national security and our economy.

It looks like Joni Ernst is positioning herself as the second coming of Sarah Palin. She hasn't made herself a national laughingstock yet, so there's buzz about her being a good VP candidate. Though not quite as dim as Palin, she is just as crazy, and she'd certainly provide some very entertainment moments if she was the candidate.
