I believe they exist in the old testament of the bible. Not sure of your point.

A comparison of the bible and Koran that in your defense of Islam, try to make it a comparison of the old testament and the Koran.

    - - - Updated - - -

    It was always irrelevant.

I read about and am quite familiar with what Christians think. Ive lived among Christians all my life and know for a fact that they don't believe they are prohibited from eating shellfish or blended fabrics, or that they must adhere to the old testament laws that were applicable to the jews. Its stated pretty plainly in the bible.

    Ephesians 2
15 by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations.

    Hebrews 8
13 By calling this covenant "new," he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear.

    Romans 10
4 Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.(*)

    Romans 7
6But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

    2 Corinthians 3
13We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites from gazing at it while the radiance was fading away. 14But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away.

Galatians 3 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree."

23Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. 24So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. 25Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law

Nice!! You completely failed to adress the most important part

How can you tell a christians what christians think and proceed to debate when they tell you that you are wrong. You're not even christian

You can't speak for a group that you are not a part of.

I can read the bible. All that is necessary for a comparison of "Quran Vs Bible". And are you claiming to be a Christian who believes he is obligated to follow all the laws of the old testament?

Paul says to obey your slave owner, and his meaning would have been well-known to the slaves in his audience. He said obey, not question.

Who 'owns' anyone? Are you owned by anyone? Do you know of any single person that is "owned" by another person? Please show a copy of the bill of sale.

There are plenty of people owned by other people in this world, in part thanks to groups like ISIS and LRA. And yes, bills of sale have existed throughout the history of slavery. You are no doubt familiar with the biblical history and defense of this. The bible clearly defends the right of an owner to beat his slave on the basis that the slave is his property.

I'll debate with you how christians debate with me

Have you heard of taking things out of context? Did you read what came before this? Or what came after? What version is this even from?

Furthermore who was saying this. Where was he saying this. Was that person simply addressing the situation or event, or is it him just preaching? If it's preaching is there some other transcendant meaning that you didn't grasp. By the holy ghost the bible was written and by holy ghost it is read. To read and understand the bible you have to have the holy ghost guiding you.You can read a passage dozzens of times and find a new meaning every time. How can you claim you know what the bible says when you can't even read it properly?Do you know the history of the land to properly interpret the text? Have you read All of the old testimemt to know exactly what we're absolved of?

Jesus died for our sins so were absolved from it. Because Jesus has come the old testimemt becomes irrelevant.

They used to sacrifice pure lambs to absolve sins. Jesus came and he absolved the sins of everyone in present past and future. Making lamb sacrifices irrelevant. It's through jesus's blood and by his blood that we're saved.

Now every man can go to heaven dispite of sin as long as they accept jesus as their lord and savior

This is the only absolution that christians get

Sure I am familiar with what is stated in the 'Bible'. However, that does not answer the question when asked by the individual person..."who is my owner?" or "Who owns me?"

My own answer -- self ownership -- doesn't matter for this discussion, since the concept does not appear in the bible or quran. According to the bible, there are several ways one might come to be owned by someone else. You could be a debtor, a civilian prisoner of war, a foreigner captured and sold, a woman sold by her father, or you could simply be the child of a slave.

Ahh.. but in the 'Bible' it goes a step further.... In the 'Bible' we are instructed that we cannot serve two masters, therefore, we have to make a choice. So, who is your master... of course you already answered that question.. you are your own master. LOL. Tell that to the tax man.

Which leads us to another contradiction. Slaves are to obey their masters and wives are to obey their husbands. You can't do these things and, at the same time, serve only God as your master. I guess if God commands you to obey someone else, as he often does in the bible, that lets you off of they hook. BTW, nothing in US law says that the tax man owns me. If it did, then Jeaus commanded his followers to be ownedby Caesar.

I don't believe for a moment that you've had any such debates with Christians that believe they are obligated to adhere to the old testament laws.

I provided the book, chapter and verse and didn't interpret them and instead provided quotes and don't believe the holy ghost is necessary to understand their meaning. And Ive read both the bible and the Koran.

You are arguing my point and refuting yours.

Yes and I'm sure you are right:no::no::no::roflol:

Yes I'm sure you " read" its evident by you vast knowledge on the topic.

...you still ignore what jesus says and the fact that he contradicts paul. Christians following jesus hence "christians". They are Christ like. They don't follow paul.So if Paul ever contradicts jesus, Jesus would always win. For you to ignore this speaks volumes of your vast knowledge

No I'm simply stating fact. The only thing that were absolved of is our sin.Nothing else

Unless you think the 10 commendment are made irrelevant because jesus showed up.

Tell me what is this law paul speaks of?

    I'll tell you the law

all sinners without question go to hell

The choice is yours... you will have a master in your life. You choose which will be your master... Either your wife, the mayor, the congressman, the president, Stephen Hawking, Jesus or Satan... take your pick. As for the tax man... refuse to pay the tax man and see what happens... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_and_Elaine_Brown They were owned by the IRS, they refused to pay, resisted arrest and were put in prison.

Convicted and sentenced for defending what they believed to be true. So don't even come to me with that crap about no such laws in the United States.

As for Jesus and Caesar.... What Jesus imparted was the ideology that render to Caesar what is Caesars... taxes... beyond that you (the followers of Christ) owe nothing to Caesar and we (the Christians) have the assurance that we are free to defend ourselves if Caesar attempts to go beyond those bounds of taxation.

    It's what it says:

    Revelation 21:

8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

And anyone who believes they are going to meet the creator of the universe floating on a cloud and fly off on gossamer wings to live in eternal bliss while 90% of all the humans who have ever lived on the planet burn and choke and scream have their heads so far up their arses they will never see daylight or smell fresh air again!!~From The Book Of Finley~ (chapter 1, verse 1)

Well, if Jesus ever wrote anything it certainly got lost. But just out of interest:

What exactly is your problem with Paul? Was this old Pharisee too liberal for your liking when he promoted that it’s the Spirit that counts rather than the formalistic following of strict set rules? Do you seriously think Jesus is upset that most of His followers these days don’t get circumcised and haven’t got the slightest qualms to eat shellfish? Do you reckon that Matthew – the most traditionally Jewish of all the four evangelists – got it wrong, when he had Jesus say: “Listen and understand. What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.” (Mt 15:10b+11)

Well, personally I just wish more 21th Christians acted according to the Spirit rather than according to their literal interpretation of Biblical texts. We might have fewer narrow-minded pricks around in the Church then.

Why can't one believe in Truth even though she is physically married to a husband?

Jesus said, "The Truth will set you free," after he had told us that he, himself, was the ideal of Truth, itself.

    haahaaaa,...
    Funny way to put it.

Rev 21 is talking about extinction,... the second death, if a whole species disappears.

People who do not adapt to the ever changing Reality will become extinct and rest in the soil just like the dinosaurs do now, in the brimstone and fire of the layers of soil under us all.

That's nice, but she is still commanded to obey her husband as the head over her, just as Jesus is head over the church. If Jesus is the Truth, then it isn't very encouraging to hear that she is to have the same relationship with her husband as the husband has with the truth. She is told to be silent in church as well. She may have "freedom" in some spiritual sense, but not in an actual, concrete sense.
