Carson is definitely the flavor of the month for the GOP and he will not win the GOP nomination. Trump may win, but the details of his policy papers will either make him or break him. As the field of contenders reduce, you will see a truer reflection of who the GOP is wanting to support. Right now, there are three factions: The traditional, establishment Republicans, Tea Party and their affiliates, and the disgruntled GOP base. The ones who are making the loudest noise is the disgruntled GOP base with Tea Party coming in a close second. But when the actual voting for the nomination occurs, we will see who only talks and who talks, walks and votes.

First, noise or not the Tea party is still retty much destroyed.

Second Carson has been "flavor of the month" for 3 months now. peole need to stop with this. Yes, he may or may not win, never said he would but peole post as if I did and if it's some kind of situation that would kill you physically which makes no sense to me.

Carson and Trump, although Trump is fading, are both long past the flavor of the month requirements, your flavor of the month for Sept was carly, who was not doing to well, got a temp boost, and is now falling, and will soon be destroyed for using her ceo "experience" as leverage, which she should have only used minimally, and dodged the rest to even have 14% of a chance, now shes has .5

Flavor of the month is something like Carly, someone not doing to well, builds u and quickly takes the to for a short time. Carly and debatable, Scott Walker (although that was really before anything got started) are the only two examples so far of "flavor of the month" Carson has olled well consistently since he announced his candidacy and the naysayers, whether he will win or not, have, been wrong multilple times about multiple things, 5 of which were related to his camVaign growth and chances along with funding, and all have been crushed so badly I have no idea why they are echoing the same statements as 5 months ago, 4 months ago, 3 months ago, 2 months ago, last month, and now, it's literal a broken record.

I do like how Carson is standing behind his statement but that does not make him a good leader. Sure Ben is a nice guy but the mistake people make is supporting someone because they like the candidates personality. That has got us some lousy leaders in the past. There are some things about Trump that I do not like but on leadership and getting things done he gets an A+. Just for example Trump is leading and has led for a while and has not spent any money. That speaks volumes. He is eager to renegotiate trade deals for better deals for America.....I say let him do it.

Trump is leading, a currently falling almost exclusively on shock value and as more peole who were wondering what to do and who to chose in fear they may crash are coming in, especially after Scott Walker, all the numbers are changing. You can't act as if one thing doesn't matter but then think something else is based on nothing. Trum may still be in the race but it's very clear within the last 40 days that Trump no longer has the ull which exlains his lean slowly towards the left.

Carson has ben fighting and arguing with fools for 5 years (in terms of frequency) he''s soft spoken but that's the only thing soft, I'm not saying Trump is someone who couldn't get the job done, but he ran with the shock value to long and now has no chance outside blocking Bush and a couple others from getting anywhere. Ben and Rubio are grabbing the votes he alienated to long and also those people he directly and indirectly insulted, pretty much both, more so the former, have what he has and also has what he doesn't. He seems like he has some good ideas, but his chances are gone.

It may be a dramatic race though if Rubio doesn't change u some of his policy ideas on a few subjects. If Rubio crashes Neither Trump or Carson will get his votes, that wouldn't be good.

There are no details to his policy papers, and practically no policy papers. He's got an anti immigration rant, a pro gun rant, and an unworkable numberless tax plan.

    The audience doesn't care.

    Carson has nothing.

It seems that the more superficial the candidate is, the more the talk radio right love him!

I have a suspicion that Ben Carson is not a very nice guy. He's a surgeon, and they're know for being very arrogant and thinking they know all the answers.

Carson certainly thinks he knows all the answers. But he's spent most of his career inside a bubble where few people questioned what he said are did.

Politics isn't like that. Politics is about persuading people and making deals, and listening, skills that Carson does not possess.

He is also clearly very naieve about some of the people around him. Which is why a bunch of scam artists managed to raise and pocket $3 million last year running a fake Draft Ben Carson for President campaign, that had nothing to do with Carson and gave no money to him.

IF you can be had that easily, you certainly don't belong in the White House. (cue the snarky remark about Obama and Putin).

I can't wait for the backpedal of "Well they are still racists that's why they are voting for him." lolololol.

This is funny you're comaring Carson to low polling unpopular, pokemon theme song singing polarbear jokes. Which shows you're not very smart, because Carson isn't in even $5 of any of these guys situations.

A lot of left leaning people hate black reublicans very much and view them as treason. i should know. But considering who he/she is comparing Carson to I don't think he/she has an actual reason to hate him because their situations are nothing like Carsons, the 5 months poll toping $20 mill raising Conservative.

Carson has not been on top of the polls at all except one. Cruz can also make that claim. So can Trump and Fiorina.

The problem with Carson is that he has not come out with any policy papers yet. None that I know of. Trump has which has directly resulted in part of his decline. When the other bottom tier candidates drop, Huckabee, Sanatorium, Graham, Christie, that Virginia governor, Rand Paul, Jindal, and Pataki, you will then see who really is voting for whom and why.

Personally, I like Kasich out of the whole bunch for GOP candidates, Bush second. Trump, not particularly but do admire him for his business savvy.

I don't know what you smokin, but Carson has been on to of the polls all the time, and changing the definition of "to of polls" doesn't really hel.

Carly's only ben on to of the debate oll on who won the CNn debate, Carson has that on some polls after the Fox debate, it doesn't mean anything. However Ben Carson has been 1st and 2nd consistently in the polls for a long time, so you continuing to treat him like flavor of the month doesn't really work or make sense and I'm trying to figure out what your criteria is.

Also Ted Cruz and Carly have not been in Bens shows of being 2ND and times First consistently over and over again with no real signs of slowdown or drops and the one thing that could have killed him he was lucky on because libs haven't done a full brainwashing yet. Because if this was 2012 Carson would have been out and Cair would be a legitement organization.

I will agree Trumps suspiciously left leaning but even criticized by them tax code hurt him but he was doing before that so I wouldn't give that too much credit, but it did help.

Also half the candidates you listed can't drop anymore without being at Grahams level which would result in them probably dropping out. Scott Walker was unpredictable and caused shock waves. So if anything any firther dros they are out and their only chance of survival is increases, only the to candidates of Trum, Carson, Rubio, Cruz, Bush can afford another drop. If you have been olling consistently at below 2% or below 4% which is the majority of the Gop, and you end u dropping, I'm sorry, I don't know how you see they can but to me it seems obvious they are done. Hukabee or Kasich drops below 2% they will need a miracle to get out.

ersonally I think Kasich is good but I feel like he's some undercover left in disguise. Which is the only reason why he's not on my to lists, some of his stances are bizarre as well IMO.

Yeah Kasich seems a bit to progressive for me but he does have a good record under Reagan and many good ideas. I could hold my nose and vote for him however at least over what the dems have to offer

No he has not. He has risen from the polls and has risen significantly in the past month. However, it is based on three issues, disparaging Muslims, disparaging non Christians, and disparaging immigrants. He has yet to provide any policy statements about certain issues and his one liners will not do the trick. Once he does that, once he starts providing details on specific issues on how to deal with them, then you will see his numbers waiver just like Trump. In other words, saying the right thing to people who want to hear something is not the same as voting for someone.

BTW, I have written emails to Carson's campaigns on specifics on his HSA and questioning his logic. The only response I have received is "we will get to that later."

And the whole point about listing the candidates is that the GOP field is extremely crowded, so anyone claiming anything has to be taken with a grain of salt. Once the culls are thinned from the heard, then you will see a true reflection on those polling numbers.

One thing, I don't think Trump's supporter much care about any scandalous behavior on his part, how many times has he been married? how many times has he used bankruptcy to bail out his business shenanigans? He's loud, he's vulgar, he's a braggart, he's a grifter and a con man, a bully and very thin skinned. And his supporters don't give a damn, they support him because of all of this. I doubt they'd drop him if they found out he kept a male call boy on call.

He's been pulling high before Muslims so.don't know what your talking about.

Also when did Ben attack non-Christians?

Also Carson and Trumps immigration stances aren't the same and his lacks controversy.
