Isn't there a metaphor for that--something like killing two birds with one stone?

It was probably our military, or at least military-industrial complex that gave the Sauds the technology in the first place. They wouldn't know what an drilling rig was if it wasn't for that.

Update: If the Saud didn't know it.....they have no excuses now.

Saudi Arabia's growing international isolation and Iran's rising regional influence have led the kingdom to "double down" on protecting its interests, according to a new analysis of the world's top 2016 risks by Eurasia Group, the world's largest political-risk consultancy.

On Monday, Saudi Arabia moved to cut off all commercial ties with Iran, according to Reuters, and bar its citizens from traveling there.

Saudi Arabia is in serious trouble, and they know it," Ian Bremmer, president of Eurasia Group, told Business Insider on Sunday.....snip~

    Baaaad.....bad Saudi Arabia. [IMG]

They are not dragging me around.....if you haven't noticed they came late to the party by a couple days. Where I was Leading the Way.

And,since you are of the Saud.....you should remember who it was you bowed to, on your knees.

My view, Iran just needs to bring it on, but they won't, they're weak and Saudi Arabia knows it.
Iran just got a hand cut off for meddling in Saudi Arabia, expect more Shiite clerics to be executed in Saudi Arabia IF they don't exit immediately.

    http://m.jpost.com/Middle-East/Iran...7QzJDNjBFQzNBM0ZGMUIwMkQwNzY0N0Y1RjIyN0UyOTQ=

Israel would drop ordinance by the ton on Iran in a heartbeat.

Both are weak.....but it is the Saud that needs protection. Without the other Sunni, they couldn't even protect their own piece of the ground.

Its not the Israelis fight nor anyone else.

I think the US, Russia and all the world powers should Force them to fight it out. Afterwards.....there will only be one problem left in that region. But it will end a host of problems all caused by that Sunni and Shia sectarian divide.

That's if people want to actually solve that problem.

Hahahahahahaha!!! Do you really think Russia and U.S are allies??
Russia is allied with Iran and Syria....
Now let's pretend for a minute U.S is allied with no one.
Both Saudi Arabia and Israel share a common enemy in Iran.
Both live in that region and both will defend themselves with or without U.S support.
Israel is already armed to the nines and is supported by an oil and gas wealth that rivals Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia has wealth and is being armed to nines at present by U.S and now shopping China for nuclear armaments.

Do your homework or have it done for you. I enjoy playing the debate either way.

It would be nice if the U.S. would think about resolving the current situation, rather than rivalries and alliances. This could all be over much faster if we backed Assad.

No, I don't think Russia and US are our Allies.....what were you trying to look into the future or something.

That's why I said all the World powers. As the US couldn't decide on their own to force the Sunni and Shia Arabs fight it out. Notice that doesn't specifically name any of their countries either.

The Saud have been stabbing Israel and us in the back for some time. Oh and the Saud already have their missiles from China and their order in for the Nukes with Pakistan. So you will need to update that homework you were thinking about.

Won't be Pakistan pal, it will be North Korea supplying Nukes to Saudi Arabia.
You know, that puppet country of China.

Obama has not exactly been am ally to Israel, what he's done to Israel is the same thing he's done here in the states.... divide and polarize.
