Of course, then the money will go where it should, to the people.

Bernie is anti-war, so, he would be a great President.

He's a Marxist. He's not going to support or defend the Constitution.

He'd also make our military as useless and ineffective as UN troops from 3rd world crapholes.

    I can hear it now

"You're fired" was uttered as the last digit of the nuclear authorization code is entered
    .

    I feel safe.

Oh Yes, anti-war you guess it....with a yellow belly in office, this country of ours would be the laughing stock of all nations on earth. Even North Korea will surrender and put out the welcome mat to all who would like to live there....might include myself since I spent three years in the Navy fighting the *****s in North Korea.

Yes 'Ol Yellow Belly Bernie is a fighter....fighting his way to become a communist if he gets elected.

I can imagine it. Yes, he would reduce military expenditures thereby "weakening" our military. He'd pull our troops out of useless and endless wars in the Middle East. He'd put the remaining military spending instead towards Veterans programs. Combat Medics would get jobs as nurses. Some people who can only understand strength if it is expressed as force would see his hesitance to conduct military actions as weakness but I do not.

I see Bernie as someone who will not use the nuclear codes. Someone who will not send our troops into harm's way lightly. I see someone who will be judicious and reticent to send Americans to their deaths. I see someone who values lives over outward displays of power.

Bernie is not anti-war. He has a very well thought out foreign policy plan, and understands the actors in global politics. Showing strength is not going into every country and starting a war. The U.S. is on a very good path compared to other countries going forward. OPEC is weak with the current low oil prices, China is showing cracks, Europe has been weak, and Russia is weak. The U.S. needs to stay out of stupid wars and continue improving its domestic and economic position, and the U.S. will be much stronger for it. Foreign policy is not going to make us a strong country. A strong economy is what makes us a strong country.

I agree with much of that. Only part I would argue is the part about OPEC. They lowered their prices to weaken the Soviet economy, and as side effects it drove down shale oil production in USA and deprived the terrorist organizations of income. Otherwise a good analysis, civilized countries fight their wares at the bargaining table and Obama, Clinton, and Kerry are crappy poker players

Oh, please. How is America going to be the leader of the free world if it stops squandering it's resources and manpower on unnecessary wars. Can you imagine how the world's respect for America will decline if they stop being afraid of being attacked for imaginary reasons.

Bernie is Just a show candidate so your average drone will think the Democrat primary is real and that the party isn't bought and paid for by global socialist. Anyone who thinks Bernie has any kind of chance is as dumb as they come. The central nexus has deemed Hilary to be the next supreme leader of the collective and no "vote" from any drone is gunna make any difference.

The question realistically is can you imagine Trump as commander-in-chief?

I can imagine him as CEO which is what we need, an administrator. There is reason it is called the executive branch of government.

Given the record of the DPe/GOPe in power Trump has a clear advantage over all the other candidates. That is why he is winning elections.

Sanders is positioned far better than HRC to challenge Trump, but the DPe will continue to rig the selection process to defeat him.

Sanders would have to win some of the Southern primaries to get DP supers to switch to him - very unlikely.

He applied for CO status during the Vietnam war. If you opposed just the war in Vietnam, you still got drafted but you were put in a non-combat job. Can't confirm one way or the other, but I suspect he applied as a pacifist. One who is morally opposed to all war. If that's the case he is not fit to serve as the CINC.

I have nothing against pacifists or pacifism, however they have no business leading any miltiaries, that's for certain.

This would be the equivalant of a vegetarian running a steak house.

I have been following oil closely for the past couple of years. Shale oil production is here to stay. Yes, it will decrease a little in the short term due to low prices, but production is at a much higher level than it was 5 years ago. The continued development of technology should allow the U.S. to compete directly with Saudi Arabia's low production costs. Anything can happen, but the historical cost of oil is $30 per barrel, and I don't expect it to average much above that for the next couple decades. OPEC isn't going to be able to rely on just oil anymore. They are going to have to diversify their economies.

I agree with Kerry especially. The guy is a total (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*), and I don't think any other country takes him seriously.
