    Seriously are you trolling.

Name a country that successfully operates like that.

Take a million people and drop them on an unpopulated piece of land and tell them they can set up a business, but won't be able to keep any of the profits and see how many businesses are set up.

Why would anyone set up a business? Why would anyone put in hard work and risk their own capital to do so.

Take the same million people and tell them they can set up businesses and will be able to keep all the profits, and then see how many businesses are set up.

You don't seem to understand how a capitalist economy gets going in the first place, or how human motivation works.

Nope! That is totally false. Our system is not set up that way. Read the definition of Capitalism. And if the definition isn't enough to convince you that Capitalism is not set up for all of us, then simply look at the results between the highest earners and the bottom 99%.
It's not a matter of whining. It's just a matter of attaining a middle school level education, for someone to see what is going on.

The assertion that socialism has never worked is built upon historical ignorance. Now to be clear,I am no fan of welfare states and economic centralization. However, neither of these are exclusively socialistic ideas as they also exist in fascistic and monarchistic societies.Trade has been a virtual constant in social interactions, however money is a fairly recent manifestation of trade originating in the 11th Century. Also, most nominally socialistic states have been in practice state capitalist societies(The Soviet Union and Nazi Germany included).Even the acclaimed free-market advocate Milton Friedman conceded this point:

Now,I have my problems with social democracies although I certainly prefer them to communist states and believe that social democracies should be properly defined as a form of regulatory capitalism rather than socialism proper in which the workers themselves control the economy, not The State and not landlords or private bankers. With that said,I see no problem with mutual banking and self-employment.
