I was at Walmart the other day, and I saw that rifles are actually being sold at Walmart. What kind of dope-head thinks its okay to sell guns at Walmart of all places? Even with a simple background check, this is making guns too accessible. I have seen very interesting people who make up the populace at Walmart, whom I've come to call, "Walmartians," and a hunting rifle, plus these type of people, make up for a dangerous equation. It's bad enough getting a place as big as the Pepsi Center to host a big, a$$ gun expo where its like, "Oh, I want this gun. How much for this gun?" but to have guns at Walmart, where counters are often empty with guns as accessible behind a simple key lock, it's really just insanity.

Simply put, guns should not be sold at large chain stores like Walmart,. Something about that idea raises MAJOR red flags.

So even with background checks meaning an ffl on site meaning all the batfe regs in play, and you STILL aren't satisfied and want to limit constitutional rights even further?

    Liberals.

Who cares what you think, the same background check will be issued. So there is no problem. What are you doing in Wal-Mart?

No, it really isn't a problem. Walmart sells goods at very low prices and is just as suited to selling guns as Cabelas or Academy. I prefer Cabelas in Buda, but Walmart is fine, too. They do background checks just like everyone else.

Do you realize how many people shop at Walmart? Probably half the population.

Do you have any idea what you are talking about?

Wallmart was never intended to be used as a millennial snowflakes safe space.

Want to get real depressed? You should take a look at how much shelf and display space those guns and rifles, and bullets take in your Walmart store store. Then go find the 'Book aisle'. See how much shelf and display space is devoted to fiction and nonfiction, children and adult. Compare. it makes me weep for the next generation.

    A) Your bigotry is showing.

    B) I purchased this gun at my local Walmart for Christmas two years back, along with the case and 1000 rounds of ammo. Put it all in a shopping cart with a 12 pack of Yuengling Lager and pushed it out to my truck. It's a Colt M4:

Either you're one of those core believers in the zombie apocalypse, or you work for law enforcement. Or you impersonate a SWAT Team Mate. Take your pick.

Evidently you don't know what snowflake refers to but then if you are a liberal I understand since you would be obsessed with race.

I like how peeps of the conservative belt automatically associate liberals with race. Stereotypical, much?

Yes, I know what a snowflake is. A frozen molecule of water. Happy?

None of the above. I'm just a shooting enthusiast. I like to shoot, and had wanted an M4 for a long while. An upcoming range day with my buddies, and a sale at WalMart corresponded and gave me the excuse to buy. It's now my fav, and I shoot it often.

Most of the people that go to Walmart most likely can't afford to buy a rifle..

I have a AK-47 that sits in my gun locker, that collects dust. I can't remember the last time I fired it. I doubt I'll ever need to use it, and hope I'll never have to use it. But, it's still there. If that makes little boot lickers like you afraid, that's your problem. Not mine.

Or possibly you have an irrational fear of rifles.

Thanks for proving my point. Your typical obsession with race.

Eh, I consider Walmart to be the shopping center for the Middle Class, and the Lower Class. Sams is a step up from Walmart, or Costco, if you want minimal selection.

All the more reason not to have guns at a store like Walmart.

I didn't prove anything, Brah. Stop jumping to conclusions.

Another Democrat who wants poor people, particularly minorities, disarmed. We need to remember the Democrat Party was started by the genocidal racist and bigoted president in USA history - and the Democratic Party has remain the party of choice for bigots and racists.

    - - - Updated - - -

Probably 90+% of the US population has shopped at WalMart.

What kind of idiot thinks legal sales of guns is a problem?

How do you feel about Obama walking guns to the Mexican Drug cartels, guns that have killed Americans and been use in US terrorist attacks? Hell, even El Chappo ended up with a .50 cal from "Fast and Furious". That you are fine with, but legal gun sales to lawful gun owners leaves your mouth dry? That's weird.

I don't really want to hear another damn word from Obama on gun control until I found out what the hell he was doing with "Fast and Furious" and why is the biggest Arms dealer the world has ever seen since WWII?

And why do we know have more armed Federal Bureaucrats than we do US marines?
