The reason they didn't go after Kennedy is the same reason the press didn't go after Clinton. The liberal press has been in the tank for democrats for a very long time. Kennedy was a terrible president. He never really accomplished a thing. He presided over one of the worst periods of racial unrest in our country yet never accomplished anything on civil rights. He sat on his hands for the first two years of his presidency and only started talking about it his 3rd year because he was looking at re-election and needed the black vote. He like Clinton, was too busy chasing skirts, doing drugs and drinking to be bother with the duties of being president.

By keeping these men's sexual indiscretions secret it does our country harm by giving blackmail material to our enemies.

Kennedy was a deeply flawed man. He had a beautiful wife. She didn't deserve for him to cheat on her. He was a sex addict like Clinton. These are men who have very little will power and are conceited and arrogant. Both Kennedy and Clinton were charlatans who were self serving self centered individuals. The used people and they used women like sexual objects. The only thing that made Kennedy a great president is that some dumbass shot him and then he was canonized by the media. Go ahead and tell me of Kennedy's greatest accomplishment. I forget what that was.

If that's really true than it doesn't matter who we vote for President, does it?

    IE--it's not true.

I don't smoke that (*)(*)(*)(*) but I do remember the corruption and decadence in the White House, the creepy staff and FOB that contaminated the White House with their mere presence and actual bodily fluids. I read Gary Aldridge's book and I know that many more should have been written because there were so many people that knew about what went on. I know that the GOP didn't want to get into it because it was so ridiculously salacious that they didn't want that to backfire on them (it did anyway). From staff being hired with criminal backgrounds, staff that would have otherwise been ineligible to work at the White House due to past drug use, gays have sex in the White House on top of office desks to Christmas trees decorated with condoms and other sexual objects and blasphemous images, the Clinton's White House was a house of horrors.

Yeah, it does. Because they were both lousy presidents. We need leaders of good character, not sex perverts like Kennedy and Clinton.

I also read Gary Aldridge "Unlimited Access" when first released. Just not a good read but funny until you remember this was the President and the White House.

If I remember correctly 1/2 of those who worked in the Clinton White House couldn't pass a security background check. A lot of drug use, sex and foul and derogatory language especially by Hillary.

(One has to wonder how many in the Obama White House staff were denied security clearance or were given security clearance in fear being called racist ? Valerie Jarrett ???)

If the Obama administration is the most incompetent and corrupt administration in history, the Clinton administration was the most unprofessional administration in history. The Clinton White House was compared to National Lampoons "Animal House." So unprofessional that after eight years on the last day of the Clinton administration the Clinton's staff removed all of the "W"'s from every computer keyboard and basically trashed the White House.

Not to mention that Hillary pillaged the White House to furnish their first home that they ever bought.

    What--you can't even click on a link?

    Here it is:

How the U.S. Government Is Organized

The Constitution of the United States divides the federal government into three branches to ensure a central government in which no individual or group gains too much control:

    Legislative – Makes laws (Congress)
Executive – Carries out laws (President, Vice President, Cabinet)
Judicial – Evaluates laws (Supreme Court and Other Courts)

Each branch of government can change acts of the other branches as follows:

The president can veto laws passed by Congress.

Congress confirms or rejects the president's appointments and can remove the president from office in exceptional circumstances.

The justices of the Supreme Court, who can overturn unconstitutional laws, are appointed by the president and confirmed by the Senate.

The U.S. federal government seeks to act in the best interests of its citizens through this system of checks and balances.

    Legislative Branch

The legislative branch enacts legislation, confirms or rejects presidential appointments, and has the authority to declare war.

This branch includes Congress (the Senate and House of Representatives) and several agencies that provide support services to Congress. American citizens have the right to vote for senators and representatives through free, confidential ballots.

Senate - There are two elected senators per state, totaling 100 senators. A senate term is six years and there's no limit to the number of terms an individual can serve.
House of Representatives - There are 435 elected representatives, which are divided among the 50 states in proportion to their total population. There are additional non-voting delegates who represent the District of Columbia and the territories. A representative serves a two-year term, and there's no limit to the number of terms an individual can serve.
    Executive Branch

The executive branch carries out and enforces laws. It includes the president, vice president, the Cabinet, executive departments, independent agencies, and other boards, commissions, and committees.

American citizens have the right to vote for the president and vice president through free, confidential ballots.

Key roles of the executive branch include:

President - The president leads the country. He/she is the head of state, leader of the federal government, and commander-in-chief of the United States Armed Forces. The president serves a four-year term and can be elected no more than two times.
Vice President - The vice president supports the president. If the president is unable to serve, the vice president becomes president. He/she can serve an unlimited number of four-year terms.
The Cabinet - Cabinet members serve as advisors to the president. They include the vice president and the heads of executive departments. Cabinet members are nominated by the president and must be approved by the Senate (with at least 51 votes).
    Judicial Branch

The judicial branch interprets the meaning of laws, applies laws to individual cases, and decides if laws violate the Constitution.

The judicial branch is comprised of the Supreme Court and other federal courts.

Supreme Court - The Supreme Court is the highest court in the United States. The justices of the Supreme Court are nominated by the president and must be approved by the Senate (with at least 51 votes). Congress decides the number of justices. Currently, there are nine. There is no fixed term for justices. They serve until their death, retirement, or removal in exceptional circumstances.
Other Federal Courts - The Constitution grants Congress the authority to establish other federal courts.

    https://www.usa.gov/branches-of-government

As to the rest of your input, you have restated your position several times, and IMO further discussion or argumentation would be futile as that is your take on the circumstances.

IMO the circumstances depicted did not have to and should not have led to the disgusting and embarrasing public display that made the US look ridiculous to the world.

Then there was Lieutenant Colonel Patterson (USAF) book, "Dereliction of Duty: Eyewitness Account of How Bill Clinton Compromised America's National Security"

Colonel Paterson was the military officer who followed President Clinton where ever he went and carried the "nuclear football."

In Dereliction of Duty, Lieutenant Colonel Patterson reveals the amazing and cavalier disregard with which Bill Clinton treated our nation's most sensitive military secrets, the lives of our men and women in uniform, and the integrity of the office of president.

OK SO WHAT? What does that have to do with what I stated and where did I take a wrong turn? Why should Paula Jones have been denied her day in court, what does that have to do with separation of powers. You are making no sense. CLINTON caused any embarrassment to the country by HIS acts, not someone else. And then you are trying to say that when the DOJ goes to the Speaker of the House and tells him the President had committed high crimes, felonies, in a federal court, and he did so as an abuse of his power and authority running the White House, they are supposed to simply ignore it? He needed to be fired just as any private company CEO would have been, summarily fired. It shouldn't taken an impeachment it should have take as happened with Nixon, his party leaders walking over to the White House telling him it was time to pack his bags and don't come back.

You really should e-mail this to President Obama, but it's really kinda to late to do it.

If Barack Obama were have known how the federal government is suppose to work, I'm pretty sure Obama would have remained in the Senate where he could have kept legislating instead of spending 7 1/2 years not upholding the oath of office and refusing to enforce the laws passed by Congress but instead he kept legislating through executive orders while the entire Obama executive branch became incompetent.

You simply don't remember the point in the discussion where the above was applicable--IMO the most important portion of the discussion--and I have already answered the rest--we are in disagreement as to the handling. It was inappropriate and harmful to the image and functioning of the country. Maybe you didn't actually live through it and therefore don't realize how inappropriate and disgusting it was.

I helped moderate the AOL political forum then, your inability to mount any rebuttal of the facts as presented noted. And while you appear to be asserting you were there then I would have to question your memory as to those facts and the legal and political processes that were involved.

Now focus like a laser and state exactly where you think I went wrong.

And then tell me what exactly you think a Speaker of the House is presented evidence by the OIC whose obligation is to report such things to the Speaker clear evidence that the President engaged in perjury, obstruction of justice and witness tampering in a federal court. The Congress has a DUTY to protect the Constitution and the country and INSURE the proper checks and balances are in working order and THAT means when a President commits high crimes and misdemeanors he is removed from office.

So where is it exactly you are asserting I have made a mistake as to how this government works and how the separation of powers operate.

The main point was the destabilization of the Mideast, if I can recall it correctly, and the right of the executive branch to do it without Congressional guidance.

As for the rest, I have lost interest in discussing it with you. Even if you happen to be correct on the CYA technicalities, that still does not excuse the obscene and ugly display the Republicans and the media made out of it.

Anyone that tries to claim the Republican party is too good for Trump's tactics is hallucinating.

Hahahahahaha! Only stupid suckers will fall for that hoax. The claim first started in August, then didn't break because it lacked any credibility, then they tried again just this June. It was already dismissed, then filed again, the names changed, the story changed, the victim can't be found, won't give interviews blah, blah, blah. The story is already full of holes.

Go ahead and wait for the proof of that case.

Where there's smoke...there's fire. Donna J Tramp seems pretty guilty of many things and will walking the plank after he loses this election. The rape thing, the liens and lawsuits over unpaid debts, etc... he's toast. Ten or 15 years in a federal prison would teach him a thing or two.

Then when he gets out at the age of 85, let's see how full of himself he is.

    BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

Here is what you meanored into

And that is not true. Presidents do not "act on the will of Congress" they are coequal branches. And the SCOTUS, does not "step in" when things go "off keel" whatever that is supposed to mean.

And your ignoring the rest of my posting noted.

Slick Willie was a good politician and a mediocre president. Without the help of Newt, his numbers would have been worse. Overall, being an excellent liar helped him more than anything.

The President is supposed to carry out the will of Congress as expressed in the legislation they pass. The SC rules on questions about legislative issues brought before it.

You are too clever to not be deliberately obtuse here. I have given you a reference which fully explains the power sharing and I am tired of your twisting attempts at simpler explanations as,apparently, some sort of time wasting device. Of course the SC steps in when asked to do so properly. It was thanks to that we got stuck with Bush II.

    Have a nice day.

Nothing obtuse just a proper understanding of the seperation of powers noting you have now couched your statements and Bush/Gore had nothing to so with a seperation of powers in the federal government it was a state issue. And none of it had to do with the OP.
