So a life long politician buys an expensive house and says rich people must pay more in taxes to help poor people. Hmm....

Oh look, bumpersticker understanding of what "socialism" means on display once again. Truly lame.

A high level Clinton endorsement runs in the $1M range these days, apparently. Payday came for crazy uncle Bernie a few weeks back, and now he's off to enjoy it.

    Asinine post.

His wife was President of two colleges - two income professional family, not hard to put a fair amount of money away after 40 years on
the job ... don't get why some conservatives are having a melt-down over this when their candidate is traveling on private jets with gold
toilets ... pathetic whiners they be.

And again, for those too dense to grasp a simple concept - Bernie's wife was the President of two colleges - they have been a two income professional
family for decades, and if you have half a brain and two incomes, you get to buy things. I know this is difficult for those of you who have been living in
Grandma's basement - but that's how real people live.

Take two seconds and use Google. Sander's wife inherited a lakefront home in Maine which they sold to purchase the new one.
Ain't rocket science, guys. But if ya'll want to continue this circle jerk - have at it.

So, it's Bernie's WIFE, not Bernie.
I wonder if he's building a fence around it.

Everything depends of where the home is. What might seem extravagant in one area, might be within normal bounds in another. And let's face it, that amount is less than what Obama spends a week at Martha's Vineyard or Hawaii... and usually at the tax payers expense. It's surprising that at his age, he wasn't able to buy a summer home before now.

Now how many millions did Hillary Clinton spend for her daughter's wedding? I lost track.

Bernie has been a success, is well known. It's likely he makes money no mater the label.

The $ for a nice lakeside house is not unusual. 'Waterfront' tends to cost $. I heard Musician Steve Earle say some folks might call him a Communist..but he makes too damn much money.

His wife bankrupted Burlington College to the tune of $10million and was let go. The Washington Free Beacon also reported that Sanders used campaign money to benefit members of his family, and that his wife directed six-figure sums from Burlington College to her daughter and the son of a family friend. Bernie, the poor little rich boy...

Seems like Blinda is rooting for the neo con warrior Clinton, and wants to besmirch Sanders name. It's a known Democrat tactic, to draw away from the criminality of their own candidate. Considering all the 'suicides' around the Clintons, more than likely he was threatened to withdraw ...or else.

So a person can't sell a house and use the money to buy a new one? Seriously? Bernie is a socialist, not a monk. He never took a vow of poverty people.

The entirety of the US Congress are 1% ers ... hell, I'm a 1%er - If you have worked for 30 years straight as Bernie and I have, you'd have to
be a major screw up not to be in this country.

Unless he has shown a propensity to oppose those specific tax proposals that would directly negatively impact his ability to buy or keep that home, he is no less a progressive than a man who does not. He has always made it abundantly clear that he supports private ownership of property and progressive taxation of the both income required to purchase and property acquired. This is not inconsistent with his beliefs or his voting record.

Glad you mentioned that one of the leaders of the anti-1%er crowd is a 1%er. That was a funny speech he gave in Philly last year. My sister was there and texted me, "Isn't this homeless looking guy a 1%er"? Classic. Gotta love the hypocrisy of the idiot left.

    - - - Updated - - -

Wait sorry forgot to ask the most IMPORTANT question. You mentioned he's a 1%er because he worked 30 straight years. Care to have your mind blown? Before I cite it and make you look super embarrassed, I'll let you guess when the Bern actually became a 1%er. Not when you hoped he became one.

    READYYYY GUESS! (You won't respond)
