Yeah, Obama enacted the more expensive American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. And while most of the money under the Bush act has been paid back with interest, the money paid out under the Obama act is gone, and now a part of our ballooning debt.

I don't remember Bernie ever saying that people shouldn't have money they spend on things they want. Guess what. You can buy vacation homes with your own money AND we can start fixing health care, education, and the economy. At the same time!

More either/or nonsense. Like the discussion about the refugees where people would chime in and say "I don't think we should take care of refugees because there are people here that need taken care of". Take care of both of them! It's not either/or. That is an illusion, a lie, made up by folks who just don't like something. It's bullcrap.

But this really highlights one of the problems with identifying candidates, or anyone for that matter, with general labels and especially when those labels aren't accurate. People hear socialist and they think USSR. Bernie is an interesting character, but he's at no point said we should be the USSR.

My suggestion would be to tone down the hysterics, they're preventing folks from listening to reality.

Organized religion is a form of socialism. How many "denominations of Religion" are there in the World.

Even a "battalion of accountants" could not prevent the military for paying for six hundred dollar hammers. Does that mean we may potentially need, "combat accountants" in future "fiscal conflicts"?

He pits poor people against rich, as if rich people are guilty somehow in something. But now it turns out he himself actually is not even close to be poor. So he in the name of all poor preaches against the very system that provided him with a comfortable life even though he didn't contribute anything to it.

the right is welcome to pay for the drug war.

    - - - Updated - - -

yeah, right. it was the left that refused to "authorize" any more "honest Injeun contingents", simply due to all of the bifurcation of the right.

    - - - Updated - - -

like what, for example? we have a "legacy" war on terror and a war on drugs to consider. why not cut those boondoggles and generational forms of theft?

    - - - Updated - - -

yup; just socialism bailing out capitalism, like usual.

the problem of the poor, is a lack of a really really serious relationship with a moral of "goodwill toward men" on the part of the fantastical, right wing.

it is politics. it is about "political actors" advancing their public policy agendas, in public venues.

Where was the republican, commander in chief, during our actual Invasion of the Middle East, with our exorbitantly expensive, superpower.

We already have a supreme law of the land. It is not about Religion; but, the subjective, secular, and temporal, value of morals.

You are a bit mixed up here. Socialism is not bailing out capitalism in solar plants. The solar plants are socialism on display, they could not exist without it.

No my friend. That is the Defense Department. These folks are working hard so you can have your pretty pink and blue dreams at nights, and have nothing in common with corporate welfare.

    Jeeeeesh......

Was it a corps of engineers that designed and produced the solar panels or the private sector?

It's two times more than qualifying as a 1%er. Nice try.

It's no longer private sector when government funds it. The solar industry is socialism on display, it could not exist without tax payer dollars.
