Seems that that 'complete jerk' you write of wiped the floor with you assumed queen that was supposed to inherit the failures of Obama. 304 electoral votes a clear win for Trump and total failure for Hillary and the Progreesive Socialist Left. If you care to smear, belittle and show your hatred of Trump with words, fine. Give the guy a chance he hasn't even vtaken the oath of office yet.

You have to be a Trump fan. Your logic is ludicrous.

He doesn't get a free pass as the President-elect when he commits stupid or malignant actions like the action described in my post. I noticed you simply accepted Trump's decision to cut off aid to terminally ill kids for a reason that doesn't exist. Instead, Trump himself used inappropriate behavior regarding his foundation. You don't even bother to defend him. You simply say he should get a free pass because he isn't the President yet. Bull crap.

Why is it necessary for Trump fans to continually apologize for him.

Here are some facts for you.

Like all other president-elects in the modern era, Donald Trump has enjoyed a surge in popularity since winning the White House. But if you surge up a mile from the bottom of the deep sea, you’ll still find yourself underwater. And after securing the honor of “least popular major-party nominee in recorded history,” Trump now lays claim to the title of least popular president-elect in modern memory.

Recent polls from YouGov and Morning Consult have put Trump’s approval rating in the mid-40s. At around this point in 2008, Gallup put Obama’s favorable rating at 68 percent; that figure was 59 percent for George W. Bush in mid-December 2000, and 58 percent for Bill Clinton in November 1992.

And when voters are asked to judge Trump’s performance as president-elect, he gets even worse marks. A new Pew poll finds that only 40 percent of Americans approve of Trump’s cabinet choices, while just 41 percent approve of the job he’s done so far in detailing his policies and plans for the future. Both those figures are historically low.

The country is more divided then ever and it was that way before trump even came along. Nothing divided the country more then the collectives war on white male Christians and cops. Leftist going to their own churches, writing vote trump on them and burning them down to frame trump supporters doesn't help either. That's why I say the average drone is just as deceitful and corrupt in their day to day lives as the establishment politicians they worship. They will justify any action that benefits them. Claiming you know something about logic is laughible.

Well, logic dictates that Trump should attempt to heal the divide, not exacerbate it.

There is so much hate in your writing. You have my sympathies.

I think you under estimate the effect on the American society that lifting the Gazi (global socialist) boot off the neck of the economy could have. The American people aren't racist sexist bigots.

Sometimes you got to cast away stones
And sometimes you gotta gather stones together
    To everything turn turn turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven

    Awesome...

Least popular is a nation that is filled, although draining, of liberals who as I said are factually the most hateful group we have. Surprise surprise.

You can be as angry as you want, but the fact remains that liberals are hateful, which is exactly what my argument was.

There was no apology in my post, only fact. No one on the right reacted as badly when Barry was elected. Then again sore losers as in 2000 and now in 2016 really show what and how immature, infantile, and violent Progressive Socialists are.

I am all for lowering taxes and building the economy, and I hope Trump is so successful that he wins again in 2020. However, we cannot ignore the fact that he is acting like a complete jerk. He is thin-skinned, and his narcissistic persona feels the need to lash out at anyone that crosses him, SNL, Bill Clinton, and Obama several times. Can you imagine how this will carry over when he is President? He said recently he will continue his childish tweets as President. I shudder to think about that because, as President, he is going to get heat from every corner of the globe.

Then there the Trump Foundation fiasco where he is cutting off charity to terminally ill kids for trumped (pardon the pun) up reasons. He refuses to hold a press conference and he refuses to address the subject when he becomes. Press conferences are of great interest to Americans and he remains totally silent on the subject. It is doubtful he will hold press conferences during his Presidency. He is not able to cope with hardball questions from a highly experienced White House press corps.

These and other matters are ignored by Trump supporters. When told of the tragic demise of the Trump Foundation, you ignored the whole matter and talked about Obama failures and Trump's E.C. win. How long will Trump fans be able to ignore Trump's failures as a man let alone as a President-elect and later President?

Do you mind telling me what all that had to do with Trump's popularity or lack thereof? Your remarks have nothing to do with the post you are addressing.

And the mobilized hate campaign of those who planned to laugh in his face at his defeat and can't stand losing- insulting, threatening electors, basically behaving like small spoiled children haven't contributed at all. Literally.

Historically most elections are won by the biggest spender- about 90% of the time. Trump took the election with half the money and about 1/3 the staff that Clinton had- because he out-smarted and out-strategized the Clinton machine. When you speak of his ignorance, ask yourself how that happened when all the know-it-all pundits and talking heads laughed at the possibility at every step. The Clinton fans bantered around the idea that Trump might not accept losing, and how poor a statement that would make. Whose doing that exact thing now?

Trump says thank you.... something I've never seen a winning candidate do, ever. And you think that is dividing the nation. Wow.

You suggested I lay off Trump because he isn't President yet. Most intelligent people would interpret that as an apology for his serious miscues as President-elect.

I don't know what "violent Progressive Socialists" has to do with my post. BTW, I am a moderate conservative independent. I am also an old-fashioned traditionalist. I can't tolerate a President-elect who soon will be representing my country acting like a spoiled child with his stupid, arrogant tweets. He needs to learn to ignore ad hominem attacks, but I wager he never will.

Trump thought he was going to lose on election night. He did lose the popular vote by 2.8 million votes. Trump now lays claim to the title of least popular president-elect in modern memory. Putin helped Trump win by hacking the DNC and John Podesta's computers. Comey helped Trump win by re-opening the investigation eleven days before the election, then admitted his mistake on the Sunday before the election, but it was too late. Trump won because the less-educated farmer and blue-color worker voted for him. The educated and college educated Americans voted for Clinton, but they lived in the wrong states.

Trump lied his way to the White House. "Clinton will repeal the Second Amendment." "Clinton is responsible for ISIS." "I won't defend NATO countries who don't pay their bills." "I am going to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it." "I will deport every illegal immigrant." "I will drain the swamp." Trouble is the less-educated voter believed those lies and liked them. As President-elect he has backtracked on all those statements, and he is choosing establishment Republicans as his advisors, Pence, Preibus, Sessions, Pompeo, Price, Perry, Chao, and Goldman Sachs people along with Putin's friend, Tillerson, as SecState.

Now if you consider all that brilliant, you have my sympathies.

No, it's standing up to bullies. The only spoiled and infantile are those elitists who are miffed that Americans rejected the lies and ideology spewed by the hateful racist Progressive Socialists and elected a Republican.

He is not standing up to bullies and "Progressive Socialists." He is standing up to the likes of SNL, President Obama, and Bill Clinton, foolish, childish tweets.
