They are going to get some of the money from more deserving charities such as breast cancer research and programs honoring American vets

    Imagine it

Some black dirtbag football players insult America and then send the bill to American vets who protect the nation

When you stand for the anthem you show respect for the anthem, the country and those who have fought for it. When you kneel for the anthem you show disrespect for the anthem the country and those who have fought for it..

Do liberals believe trump voters would not mind so much if all the players were white and their reason for hating America was global warming insted of black violence in the hood?

People are trying, unsuccessfully, to make this protest about Patriotism or Money ... ALL these Protesters are, are American, most have been longer than the Crybabies, and ALL are Richer than 99.9999% of the people bitching and complaining ... so it's ain't about Money for them either.

For those of you who aren't dishonest fckers, that's the rest of the quote that many of you seem to like taking out of context.

Surely the reasons individuals stand (or don’t) for their national anthem will be varied and individual. I’ve no doubt there are plenty of people who don’t like the military but still stand for the anthem, be it out of true respect for the nation or out of habit and social pressure. Similarly, non-Americans will inevitably stand for the US anthem and Americans for foreign ones even if they have no particular feeling towards the nation or people it represents.

And the manner in which the players are protesting isn’t really disrespectful. They’re not holding banners, shouting slogans or turning away. They’re kneeling, quietly and reverently, much as everyone else is standing quietly and reverently. You might not like how they’re choosing to send their message or what that message actually is (I think it’s flawed at best) but you’re not entitled to declare what the meaning and intentions of their actions are. That’s no different to the people who (wrongly) say that your objection to the protests is racism.

It's common courtesy to stand for a nations anthem and taking a knee is a blatant show of disrespect for the nation and it's anthem and for those who have fought for this country. Really no other way to spin this. If you want to protest cops then go protest at the police station.

I am not criticizing the military. And I am not playing the race card. I have read posts that call for these guys to be sent back to Africa. I didn't bring up that idea.

Typical example of how Trump is destroying our country by focusing on a protest that would have lasted a few days except Trump won't let it go.

Trump ! Don't you have something more important to do like leading our country ?

That point is ridiculous. My point is not. People online who are angry about the NFL protests regularly make racist remarks. I'm not going to repeat them, they are too offensive. But it is a fact. Protesting is a civil right in America and one of our most valued ones. Those who are opposed to this peaceful protesting are taking exception to it because they don't agree with the protesters and are often making racial slurs in so doing.

And I can protest their protest by not watching football anymore. They have a right to cut their own throats and I'll hand them the knife.

Yes you can. Yes, absolutely. However, I don't personally like the violent imagery. And remember, their protest is a peaceful one. That's to their credit.
