California’s gun laws were created when Reagan was Governor and Ed Meese was DA of Oakland. The GOP controlled the legislature too. Oakland’s all white police department was routinely beating up black people, falsely charging them with crimes, planting guns when they murdered them on the streets and planting dope on them during illegal warrantless searches.

A community group was formed by educated members of Oakland and San Francisco Black community called The Black Panthers. They began to patrol the streets at night and observe the Oakland PD, pulling up to police pullovers and arrests. These people knew the US Constitution and The Bill Of Rights. They were legally armed at that time as they were conducting their community watch.

All of a sudden, Reagan, Meese and the right wingers who controlled the California Legislature decided that strong gun control measures were needed. When confronted with the reality that Black people were also protected under the 2nd Amendment, they rethought their whole “strict constitutionalist” conservative principles and passed the most restrictive gun laws in the nation. Funny how that works, eh....

 

California's gun laws didn't become "the most restrictive gun laws in the nation" until well after Reagan was gone and the Democrats had taken over. It's true that they passed some gun laws during Reagan's governorship, but they've passed many more since then, under Democrat leadership. Those laws have had a disproportionate impact on minorities. Gun control is racist, but it's largely the Democrats that have done it.

 

He signed lot of them into law and so did another Republican icon Arnie Schwarzenegger. Both played a big part in making CA the most restrictive.

Republicans have a habit of blaming others for the things they do.

The officer yells “police, stop” and then orders him to show his hands. The video shows Adam standing in a large gap in a wooden fence with his side to his officer and what appears to be a gun behind his back.

I was simply pointing out the FACT that California’s gun laws began as a reason to expressly keep African Americans from exercising their 2nd Amendment rights and was passed by an all GOP statehouse. California has continued to pass more legislation under both Democrat and Republican Governors. Brown, Wilson, Dukemajian, Davis, Schwarzenegger, Brown. There have been no new gun laws passed under Newsome. Since Reagan left there have been as many Republicans as Democratic Governors here in California.

 

I'm not aware that Floyd is in any tribe. I does suggest that you think Floyd is some kinds of caveman in a tribe. And that has a ugly smell of seeing this black person as 2nd class. And I put in red what I asked you to prove. You go prove that the amount was paid to "soothe the Black community".

I didn't see anything highlighted in "red" in your post. But, if you've even been ALIVE in this country from about the mid-1960's onward, you would be perfectly aware of the 'behavior' paradigm that has existed since that time to the present day between the "Black community" and the "non-Black community".

In nearly all of the incidents that serve as catalysts for Black rampaging, rioting, and looting, some Black guy gets in trouble with the police, refuses to obey lawfully-issued commands, and has to be physically subdued, or, killed... whereupon the "Black community" goes pouring out onto the street, and all hell breaks loose.

There are countless examples, going back much earlier than "Rodney King" in 1992, right on up through 2020 when we saw essentially the same kind of thing occur with George Floyd, Rayshard Brooks, Kenneth Walker (Breonna Taylor's boyfriend), Jacob Blake, and now we've got the new example of this 'perp', Daunte Wright -- who had two warrants out for his arrest, one of those involving a weapon!

Afterthought: Ever wonder why White or Asian 'mobs' don't riot, rampage, set fires, and go on looting binges when someone of their race gets busted for resisting arrest...?! Think about it....

 

All there is today, just like back than, are just cops being out of control acting with impunity. Racism is wide spread according to the American Psychological Association. The have proved that. And a bunch of gimps going in full denial about the facts as if it's 2020 and fake news is still a thing. And the racism shows, when people degrade the people killed as "tribes" out there "rampaging, rioting and looting".

Well Daunte is a fine example. The thug killed a person, and immediately it's only about how bad the person was, who the thug killed. It's done in a way to again degrade the person so low that the life of the person did not matter. You lot can not help yourselves to not do that. It's never about if killing the person was justified. And it's obviously not. To make the insult even greater: the cops just looked on how Daunte died without even attempting to give aid for like 3 minutes to only than give it a go, when it's actually too late. It falls in the same systemic degrading pattern.

I guess you forgot the 6th of januari already, while Asians are absolutely fed up with the racist remarks and the violence they are getting. It's also well known that white right wingers are the biggest domestic group that is causing the most deadly kind of terrorism.

 

In the Court of Common Sense, yes he was a Wanna be Gangsta, plus there's that pesky Warrant for his Armed Robbery of a Woman he choked and of course the Video of him struggling with Police, while trying to avoid arrest. He also forgot that Blacks murder over DOUBLE the amount of White people compared to Whites murdering Black people according to FBI statistics and that Black people only compromise about 12% of the American Population compared to about 75% for White people. Liberals would just look at that statistic and say, WELL! that's just because there are SO! many more White people to murder compared to other races.

It's not about giving a free pass. It's giving a person a due process who looks guilty, instead of a public execution. Or putting it in other words: some would say that it's the person constitutional rights to get due process. Some others would say that his life doesn't matter because he already looks pretty guilty and you can dispose of that.

You forget that Blacks commit the most crimes of violence of any racial group in the United States on a PER CAPITA basis (which is the only statistic that is relevant to an analysis of which-race-does-what).

 

If there were only two people in the US from Malidova and one of them commits a crime of violence does that mean Malidovans are the most violent race and all Malidovans should be treated as suspects?
