He is facing 3 charges, none of which suggest the killing was intentional. The difference is that her incident happened in a flash of an eye, while he had 10 minutes to reverse his actions.

Chauvin charges
- Second degree unintentional felony murder,
- Third degree “depraved mind” murder,
- Second degree manslaughter.

Kim Potter charge
- Second degree manslaughter.

Yes. The protesters are acting like fools demanding justice, when justice is being served in both cases.

OMGawd, not fair ! ...the other murdering cop, that transit cop, only got 11 months for shooting a BLACK guy in the back...the guy was laying face down on the ground.....and that cop ALSO used their wink, wink, excuse that he thought he was using a taser... He looks like a nice kid who robbed a woman at gun point and had a weapons charge and failed to show for court and fought the cops when he got stopped.

Misdemeanor warrants. Pulled over for an expired tag and dead in a minute. Immediately, of course, scumbags start trashing the dead kid and getting any dirt on him in the papers before his parents and loved ones even get a chance to bury him. Pretty disgusting in my book.

And in both cases this was exactly what happened, they were both justified and made an honest mistake in the heat of the moment. Why on earth would either want to kill the perp?
