When you attend seminars and training classes you are given a series of scenarios based on the topic. For instance dynamic entry classes focus on making quick and safe entry to a variety of structures, then what to do once your inside with whatever intel you've gathered. Because this befuddles you, it will seem like a fantasy. The reality, which I promise you cannot comprehend, is not unlike a batter watching and thinking about a pitch to hit.

Every police agency and military on the face of the earth since the dawn of time practices what you think you may encounter, so you don't get in there and become a sniveling baby that doesn't know what to do and gets killed. Just to be fair, my brother in law had adopted a dog from a friend's family member that could no longer take care of them. BIL was advised the dog had abandonment issues, and so he got a cage to put dog in while they were at work so the dog dog wouldn't tear the house up.

Only for the dog to chew through the metal bars and escape, causing a mess.

While looking for new cage options, they had to leave dog in house alone, and after a couple days learned that the dog was just afraid they would abandon him. When they kept coming home, he got better, and no longer needed a cage.

The moral is, a one size fits all option of prison will not work for every situation. As much as people on both sides of the political spectrum want that easy mode button, they will have to put in the hard work and effort to forge a brighter future.

 

What about repeat offenders? If some perp continuously commits crimes after light prison sentences over and over again (see NYC), then maybe they haven't spent enough time in prison. Maybe if they get incarcerated until they are 60 will put them in a better frame of mind once they get out.

Why should yours or my life be in peril because some rich politicians whose lives are well protected makes some liberal decision only to oppose the other political spectrum?

They definitely are not letting perps walk to benefit the peaceful citizens who would never commit crimes. Especially, those in the lower class spectrum, mostly minorities. Basically, this liberal agenda is hurting minorities more than anything because they get stuck living in crime ridden neighborhoods just so some rich white politicians can say they are woke and helping other liberal politicans ambitions.
