So here's the thing: Oil, Coal and Gas are Natural elements of the earth. So it is natural energy

What supernatural materials were used to refine the oil?

What a load of crap. Typically there are NO negative effects to human health with CO^2 levels nearly 40 times current levels.

It's embarrassing that you failed to point out that CO^2 levels many multiples of current levels pose no danger at all to human health.

We need a water channel from the Snake River to Lake Meade, with a series of hydroelectric plants.

Actually, I think Pennsylvanians found it before the Arabs did.

So what? You don't breathe differently at work.

What level of CO2 are you claiming harms human health even if subjected to it 24/7/365?

I'm not making any claims about it. But just because people can withstand something 8 hours per day, 5 days a week doesn't mean they can live in it. And the government isn't going to test it because there is no point.

The climatic effects on farming would kick in before human breathing problems. Bringing that up was just silly anyway.

    And yet, here you are.
You have zero proof that even many multiples of current CO2 levels would harm human health.
Now CO^2 levels could become high enough that they displaced Oxygen levels. And when CO^2 is starting at 0.04% you can double it many times and never get to high enough levels where it affects the 21% oxygen levels of normal air. There are no ill effects of 20% oxygen levels. And, per Boyle's Law, increased CO^2 levels would equally crowd out both the 21% oxygen levels and 79% of other things air is made up of, so, only a 1/5th of the increased CO^2 levels would crowd out oxygen, therefore, CO^2 would have to rise to 5% of air to even move Oxygen from 21% to 20% and even those oxygen levels would do no harm. Do you know how many times 0.04% goes into 5.0%?
    Exactly my point.

It was pointed out that Lake Meade needs more water. Humans have been channeling water from areas where they have excess to areas where they need more, for at least 8,000 years.

What's embarrassing is that the loony left doesn't realize that half of the life on the planet needs CO2 to survive, which in turn, allows all animal life to survive.

Well, as cars and trucks go electric then corn produced ethanol goes out the window. You got a problem with farmers making a living?
Of course those farmers in the tropical and subtropical would grow a few acres of Jatropha for their fuel. Some are already making the move. There's a hospital not far away put in solar panels and a field of Jatropha and is now energy self sufficient.

Well, oil- and coal-fired power plants were not part of the country's energy mix before, and then all of a sudden it was, correct?

Other than raising temperatures causing floods and famine but other than that no problem.

The American West has had drier and wetter periods
    20140130_025829_megadry650.jpg
This is how people confirm that Climate Change is not about the Climate, but about power. Just because Democrats got away with using COVID as a dry run to enforce compliance, doesn't mean we're stupid. They're close to ramming a digital spyware currency down our throats. If the compliant masses buy the story line that it's about safety and not control with a permanent fascist Democrat regime, we can bend over and kiss our freedoms good bye.

Technically even toxic waste is "natural", it all comes from the earth. The real issue here is the left does not care about these issues unless they can use it to gain political advantage.
I'm guessing 9 out of 10 climate preaching libbies in here probably use plastic bottled water, don't recycle, and drive a gas powered car. These people are too good to keep re-using a glass bottle, but expect YOU to.
They are too good to walk instead of drive, but expect YOU to.
They sure love to ignore the private jet thing. I wonder how many tons of CO2 emissions happen each time Leonardo DiCaprio and J. Kerry go to preach at a climate event. (you would think they would carpool if they care so much).
Here in NJ they stopped giving bags at most stores. That's GOOD. its simple and helps (as long as you re-use those bags until they break!)
No straws = GOOD. This is a no brainer.
IMO we scrap bottled water unless its in glass. Who cares if its more money. People should be investing in water filters and then filling something NOT PLASTIC with it.
We have way more work from home since covid. I'm sure that also makes a dent in CO2 emissions.
Whats up with TP? Why are we still smearing poop around with PAPER when BIDETS should be main stream!
Most other countries already do this. WHY DON'T WE?
Think of all of the trees we could save. Trees that could be breathing up some of that excess CO2 for us.
You fakers don't care about the environment. STOP PRETENDING. It makes me sick!

Well said. The water bottles are so annoying. In some situations it's unavoidable, but in most situations, there are better options than plastic.

You sure know a lot about liberals and what they do or don't do. Newsflash, it wasn't liberals crying when McDonalds wanted to eliminate plastic straws, or Walmart eliminated free plastic bags. And the throw away plastic bottles is a non-starter, most liberals don't use them, and liberals recycle (recycling wouldn't even be a thing without greens pushing for it).

Now, as for the bidet: Can you REALLY imagine that the MAGA crowd wants a spray up their behind after doing number two? No, that's for European girly-type men, not for the actual manly-man MAGAs.

So MAGAs like to have dirty butts? WOW. Talk about stereotyping. I grew up in a family of BUTCHERS and we had a BIDET so there goes that stereo type! Most liberals I know use paper plates and buy plastic bottles. Most of these "manly" MAGAs just install a water filtration system. I myself prefer the ZERO water filters and use those (we have pretty hard water where i live).
I remember the right whining about the straws. They fell inline eventually. I don't hear whining about it now (but you are right, they did complain about it). I think the straws helped set a new precedent though. Here in NJ people were on board with the bag thing and I think the straw thing helped to expand their narrow point of view some.

Natural CO^2 runs 180ppm to 2200ppm. When were at the low end of the range CO^2 has a strong warming effect that drops off rapidly as it increases. As for weather, I think that's far more affected by the La Nina/El Nino cycle.
