You see it on these boards time after time.

The Democrats here will defend the conduct of Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden to the point of ruining their own credibility.

What is so attractive about these two?

This applies especially to Biden who is both senile and corrupt.

His attitude and behavior toward the Hawaiian disaster is now reprehensible. Hawaii is reliable Democrat state. What gives?

I would never vote for a Clinton - all corrupt POS
I voted for Biden as the lesser of the 2 evils, but he is horrid
The most tone deaf, clueless administration that I have ever seen

My guess is that dementia Joe, didn't clearly hear or understand the question, so without notes to read from, just went with a standard no comment. His clueless handlers let RW media run wild with it and said nothing because of how tone deaf they are

People on both sides claim that Biden or Trump have turned us into a Banana Republic. Both parties are guilty of this by giving us this garbage as nominees again and again

I laugh at the idiots who defend those two bozos just as much as I laugh at the idiots who defend Trumps conduct. I also laugh at the idiots who don’t see that both sides do this. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not a big fan of either. Except I must admit that Biden has far exceeded expectations. I guess expectations tend to run low after a Republican administration. The same thing happened to me with Obama. And Barry DEFINITELY proved me wrong. I'm now wondering if, when all is said and done, Joe will do the same..

Perhaps if you made a specific allegation about the conduct of either we could get a conversation going. In general terms nothing either has done, acknowledging each is far from perfect as is the case with all human beings, warrants the apoplectic accusations from the Right.

I think it's more likely that he doesn't have teleprompters following him everywhere he goes while he's on vacation and his handlers are often afraid to let him speak without one after sunset or if he hasn't had a good nap.

I suspect they're also waiting for some time to pass after the deaths so they can make this about climate change and not be criticized for it. The people already looking to exploit this for political purposes while the bodies are still warm are just embarrassing themselves.

I'd ask you to consider the observation you just made about Joe relative to RICO Don's 91 criminal counts in 4 cases for which he has been indicted.

Let's just say, on the whole, his admin has accomplished quite a lot despite not controlling Congress. He could accomplish a lot more with some compromise on the part of Repubs.

The year-over-year inflation rate dropped from 4% in May to 3% in June, largely due to falling energy and transportation prices, according to the latest consumer price index report.

All three of them are the pits. The country could do better, but running for public office is like getting colonoscopy. That says to many qualified, talented people, why go through that?

As a swing voter, Clinton and Biden aren’t Trump. In 2016 I didn’t like Clinton either, so I voted against both Trump and Clinton. In 2020, I voted for Biden to get rid of Trump. Biden’s attractiveness was simple, a means to be rid of Trump. Hillary Clinton, she came across as aloof, an elitist, a know it all. But her opponent was Trump, obnoxious, uncouth, rude who acted more like a spoiled 4-year-old brat with his name calling and throwing of temper tantrums. No way could I ever support either one. With Biden, at least he acted like an grownup, behaved presidential. That was enough in 2020.

I saw a bumper sticker back in 2020, all it said was: ADULT 2020. That summed up the 2020 presidential election nicely.

depends on one percetion as a "leader", someone who runs their mouth in a derogatory way, at YOUR perceived enemy's, as opposed, to someone who delegates authority well

It's been my experience that a leader who delegates everything is a piece of **** example of a leader.

From my own POV, your question is flawed, in equating Biden & Clinton. I was never a fan of Hillary's. Biden, on the other hand, despite the inability of many, to recognize the fact, has been successful, to an historic degree. That is not to say, that after two and a half years, Biden has fixed everything that other politicians have let slide, for the last 50 years. There is more to do. But it is a discredit to the reputation of anyone's judgement, to call Biden's time in office, a failure. That is not to say, there are not individual points, about which one could not find fault with Biden (as, in our Afghanistan withdrawal). But overall, any realistic appraisal of Biden, must be positive.

That said, and further disproving of your thesis, that everyone on the left automatically loves & defends these two politicians: when Biden was competing in the Democratic Primary, I was critical of him, myself. But he has proven me wrong. IOW, I make my arguments, based on the facts of any given topic, not because of my "attraction," to any particular personality. That is why your OP strikes me, as just one more of the ubiquitous examples of Republican projection.

The blatantly apparent question, is why the hell do Republicans stick with Trump-- not, "what is so attractive about Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton?" You can see for yourself, in this very thread, that Democrats are willing to be not only less than enamored with, but also critical of, both of those Democrats-- much more so, than you will typically find, in threads about Trump. What you will really see on these boards, time after time, is that the main detractions against Trump, from those on the Right, are that Trump should step aside because he is too controversial, or too old; while they generally have only positive assessments to make, of Trump's time in office.
