So the question is where in the constitution congress has any legislative authority to ban guns. I don't see any such language, do you?

Not sure what you're saying. Do we agree that the federal assault weapons ban of 1994 was unconstitutional?

    I think so?
Especially if it leads to ending the unconstitutional war on drugs. Can we use the same precedent is my question now considering assault weapon, or the word gun isnt in the constitution.

The 1994 federal assault weapons ban is unconstitutional because...

    Fill in the blank.

    I just did.
Its unconstitutional because an assault weapon is "arms". Anything can be considered arms.

Arms? I'm not sure I follow.

Does congress have any legislative authority at all to institute an assault weapons ban?

    Right to bear arms.
They cannot ban anything that can be considered arms. If I weaponize something, congress has no legislative authority to ban it.

Do you understand that congress only has the legislative powers granted to it?
