    Why not? Obviously players aren't going to leave Barcelona or Real Madrid to come to Liverpool, but Liverpool are still one of the 5-10 biggest clubs in the world. A club many top class players would be thrilled to play for.

    I think Liverpool's doing the ManCity 'buy over-rated English players' thing to look better. They also want names, not talent.

    Sahin or Özil are great examples.

    I know absolutely nothing about Polands U-21 team. I know a few of France's team though. So I will take France to win 2-0. Hush already said he has 0-0 draw. What do you have?


    PS. If we are all wrong, we can roll the bets over onto our next bet. Sort of like a double or nothing thing.

    It's first team, not U21. I say draw. Poland recently beat an under-whelming Argentina and France struggled to a draw with Belarus in a competitive match.

    I wanted Liverpool to get Sahin to replace Xabi 2 summers back, but no luck. I agree, those are great signings(but still not enough to catch Barca!!).

    Ok, well then I know all of France's team and many of Poland's as well. In that case, I will take 2-1 France.

    Madrid need depth, not strength. They have Kaka on the bench. That's so freakin' ridiculous. It's beyond ridiculous. It's worse than when Ballack was on the bench for Chelsea (or more recently when Drogba was playing second-fiddle to Torres, the wonder boy!).

    So what amount of credits do we think is reasonable?

    There is a 5% 'donation' fee, but I think that's just a cut that Mak takes...
