Mexico have out-played all their opponents; but recently they've had problems in the hole between midfield and attack and their late goals and low scoring is a problem that hopefully won't happen in the final.
God really the North and South American soccer leagues should unify I mean come on. The only real challenge we have is Mexico. Then we both get killed in the WC.
LOL. If America competed in the Copa America they'd lose so much morale... Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay... and full-strength tournament squads.. Mexico is pretty good, though.
The USA did well against Argentina in the last friendly, drawing 1-1, even though it was a weak Argentine squad. They drew against England in the World Cup and bowed out to a strong Ghana squad in extra time. American soccer is on the rise. Some good youth prospects, too. Have pride, 1984!
I know, I saw those games. It was a great world cup. I was literally screaming till Ghana scored the goal and won.
Adu starting... interesting. He got a little lucky last time, but I don't know if he's a good starter.
I knew America was pretty good. I'm not going to go crazy over this, but America will win a World Cup in the next 20 years. Seems reasonable to me.
America won't win a World Cup, for sure. But they did wonderfully. Donovan playing deep was a smart idea; and the Mexican team is shocked.
In the next 20 years? Come on more people care about soccer in the US. Plus an increasing Latino population.
There isn't much in terms of tactical genius. Bradley is good, but not like a Lippi or such. Europe and South America will dominate; China won't win a World Cup this century, probably! WOW. 2-1. Maybe I'll need those credits back LOL.
You didn't send them back. And yeah China ain't going to do much. They aren't really that interesting in soccer I guess.
True. I haven't seem enough of Chicharito, hoping to see him play a little deeper and make a few good runs.
LOL Catch, don't compare it to the other continents, soccer isn't really big here. I think US might lose. If we draw what happens?
