Even Asoka himself felt bad about all of the people that died due to his tyrannical behavior.

    All? No.

Some? Yes, and even that is debatable.

Did you have a relevant point hidden in there or...?

there is a temporal (time) aspect to everything. Any system can work in a short time interval (i.e. capitalism, communism, socialism, dictatorship). Over a long time interval I believe that, and I also believe that the historical evidence indicates, that socialism and capitalism can last for sustained time intervals without massive rejection. Of course, I also believe that the USA will undergo a massive rejection of "capitalism" within the next 10 years. Capitalism has been corrupted into a distortion of the original concept and it is really human nature (i.e. greed) that leads to the failure of ANY structured government concept.

That seems to be the common opinion of all the yahoos saying that we need a dictatorship. If we ALREADY HAVE a dictatorship then what is all of this rabble rousing about???

Jesus Christ, I bet you guys go into every bar and juke joint in town passing out pamphlets trying to convince people that beer tastes good too.

You're right. If we had a good leader, then a dictatorship would be much more efficient.

    Hitler.

    Stalin.

That's what you want. That's what happens every time someone gets too much power.

Commmunism is considered the greatest form of Government possible, as long as humans aren't involved in it's processes.

We need a good dictatorship, not just any dictatorship.

That's not what happens every time someone gets that much power. They were that way to begin with. When did Hitler write Mein Kemf? It was awhile before he got into power. Communism is the greatest form of government if it is run by robots. That's what I said. This is why we need a benevolent dictator who will invest in building robots that can set up Communism.

If a system of government isn't ruled by the combined will of the people, it shouldn't be a government.

What you suggest is that the will of the people isn't worth listening too, and for their own good they need to be suppressed to be happy.

That's what you are arguing for.

I never said they needed to be suppressed. They can be listened to. They just won't make any important decisions.

It is people that kept dreaming and had visions who created all that we have. Then there is a class who are outraged and shocked at every little change.

With a lack of imagination one assumes that America is a free nation, but an open minded person can easily see that it is no less dictatorship then USSR.

My comment was in response to the assertion that "Americans will want a dictator". That "dream" isn't exactly comparable to the great innovations throughout history. Nice try.

And my point in this thred (I think) is to demonstrate that the elites who dictate to us in USA and the rest of the world by the use of political puppets in a system they call free and democratic, FEAR any leader and will label any leader (with power) as a dictator. that is the point I am trying to make

Heh, maybe those "elites" and "puppets" are people "that kept dreaming and had visions who created all that we have" so you should be their biggest supporter.

In short, you've done a p1ss poor job of relaying your point.

Absolutely, only they created it for themselves. the power I mean, not the technology.

I am not their biggest supporter for the same reason a minnow is not a supporter of a bas. it does not mean that a bas is bad, it is what it is, but I feel more then just a minow, I feel I have the ability and an obligation to at least try to wake people up: they keep ignoring and keep failing.

You're trying to wake people up by saying that "Dictatorship is the answer"?? Then you complain about the current government being......a dictatorship!

You and your one or two like minded companions in this thread are all over the place, contradicting yourselves at every turn.

I realized he did that. Are you saying I have been contradicting myself? Where?

I was only trying to demonstrate in this thread that these terms "dictator, democracy, freedom fighter, terrorist" are all political BS.
