You can have just as much choice in a dictatorship as you do in a democracy.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. To believe otherwise is extremely naive. Even a benevolent dictatorship will eventually descend into tyranny. It is the nature of the beast.

People are not only stuck in their debt, they are also stuck in their own bull(*)(*)(*)(*). people like me and oldjar have imagination, which is what created everything people like you get to enjoy.

Yeah, it takes a hell of a lot of imagination to envision a system of government where one person has supreme control. Very original. Never heard of anything like it before.

First of all, you have no credibility at all. You're some random dude on the Internet. Where you claimed to live, means nothing at all to me.

Second of all, the Soviet system collapsed upon itself, so I'm wondering why you're even bringing up the USSR. I only bring up the USSR when using an example of a system that you don't want to impose on people.

Last of all, you're attempt to use gun violence in America to deflect away from the fact that one of your "benevolent" dictators is using his armed forces to crush opposition in his country is as transparent as it is funny.

    Good job guy.

Hmmm interesting.... here is what the dictionary says:

a : a form of government in which absolute power is concentrated in a dictator or a small clique

As in... the people DO NOT have a choice in the way things are going to be. And now is the point where you will probably tell me the dictionary is wrong.... and I wish you a pleasent day...

LOL. Of course the people don't have a say, last I recalled, we don't "democratically" right now. Hence free trade, the FED, patriot act, income tax, being a "global police force", etc.

That's an example of a bad dictatorship. It is possible to have a good dictatorship.

Then you must be new to the planet: any construction project or business has one person absolutely in charge. even criminal gangs have leaders, but a criminal society uses deceptions and decoys, and political puppets. it takes imagination to be able to see this happening in our government today because this is not shown on the media which are part of the criminal act, but I believe it takes a very naive person not to realise that something terribly wrong with a government who has us 16 trillion in debt

I only respect Gadaffi because he provided services to the people from oil revenues, and I only disrespect rebels there because they seem to be fighting amongst themselves already. time may prove me wrong, but if it proves you wrong the media will back you up because you're on the same side.

Me having lived in both types of systems I know that there are goods and bads in both types of systems, something you do not know. that's all. there can be no argument about it, other then you are asking me why I live here.

Exactly, all I've heard from people is that he attacked his own people. Maybe there was good reason for that when they were protesting. Why were they protesting? It didn't seem like life was too bad there. Gadhafi didn't seem like that bad of a leader. I've tried to look up why the people were rebelling against Gadhafi but couldn't find anything.

You have no idea what the word 'sarcasm' means, do you?

Now I'm starting to think that you don't know what the word 'imagination' means either. If what you say is fact then why would one need imagination to see it? It takes imagination to envision a pink flying unicorn, not to see that massive government debt is troublesome.

Anyways, I'll leave you and oldjar to hash out your brilliant benevolent dictator scheme. Here's to hoping that neither of you ever try to bring your plans into motion since such an effort wouldn't end well for your brain trust.

We'll see how well your secessionist movement is going to catch on.

I don't think he needs to say dictionary is wrong to prove that a fraud democracy is like a dictatorship with an illusion of freedoms: all one has to do is look at the comical 16 trillion dollar debt or kids getting arested for selling 10 cent lemonade: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=10f_1313942324

I thought you were in on peoplevsmedia's secessionist movement? Weren't you two going to start your own dictatorship? Are you now distancing yourself from his movement?

Then the world is doomed. Because I would rather see it destroyed than live under a dictatorship.

I hate to tell you this, but all of that which you listed could be gone after the next election. The only reason it won't be is due to two things; 1) Apathy which translates to tacit support, and 2) Many voters overtly support those things. That's sort of how democracy works.

I don't agree with that much of what peoplevsmedia says. I don't completely disagree with him like I do for almost everyone else on this forum.

So you don't think that his "secessionist movement is going to catch on." Do you feel the same way about your secessionist movement? Or do you think your ideas have a better chance?

Seceding is breaking away. I am not proposing to break away, but to overthrow the current government. I haven't worked out all the details on how to do that yet. That's why I post on message boards to see what people think of my ideas. I probably wouldn't be able to truthfully tell what I'm going to do in office and still get elected. I'm going to have to please the stupid masses like the other leaders have done to get elected.

I see. Since you say that you would like to know what people think of your ideas, I'll give you my take. I think your ideas are asinine, completely unfeasible and carry all the hallmarks of psychopathic behavior (I'm not even exaggerating when I say that, either).
