'Twas nice and warm here yesterday, thanks to a warm wind. However, a colder wind blew into today, after some heavy rain and maybe thunder and now things are getting colder again. Now, it's supposed to snow again on Thursday, 60% chance. It's kind of funny. We went from 7 degrees on Sunday morning to 53 on Monday and now we're back down to 33.
22F (winchill -8F). We got 2 inches of snow this morning. Presently solid cloud cover which is depressing.
32 degrees, same as yesterday. Will be warm all week, with temps of 34 on Sunday, which will be great, because I can bask in the sun at the Australian Open.
I fried the last time I was at the Open. Gets too hot in those outside courts. 36C here in Perth today, with a thunderstorm on the way. Thur: 34 Fri: 35 Sat: 33 Sun: 31 Mon: 35 Tue: 36 I hate this weather. I'm going back to Hobart!
Read this... I'm like what the hell??? Then I remembered you guys use celsius!!! Ok, so the weather here in Michigan, USA right now is 22F or -5 Celsius... which isn't too bad this time of year. Tomorrow it's going to get down to 4F or -16 Celsius.
I hate the weather here. I will definitely be moving south where it is warm year round eventually. I'm not sure how "harsh" your winters get where you live, but they get deceivingly harsh here in Michigan because of our location. We have 5 great lakes surrounding us... we get tons of lake effect snow. We also get winds called "northeasterlies" from Canada... which are very cold masses of air.
Haha, summer in the US when the temps are over 100F I always have to remind myself that you do things differently. Sounds like an oven to me summer time, lol!
Winter in Perth isn't harsh at all: it's quite pleasant. Max temps in winter average around 18C and overnight it gets down to about 6C. We get about a week of minimums under 5C and the odd Zero C. "Winter in Perth: The mild Perth winter begins at the start of June and finishes at the end of August. It is generally a rainy season, mingled with cool sunny days. There are however occasional storms, characterised by downpours of rain, lightning or thunder." http://www.perthtouristcentre.com.au/weather.php
In Celsius, our coldest night this month (the same one I mentioned) was -14. The coldest day (just a couple days before that) was -7. (19F). The warmest day was 16 (60F). The next few days are supposed to be 1C and colder, just below our average of 2C, then there's a warm-up. There's still a 50% of snow tomorrow, but there's not supposed to be much accumulation.
Not as warm as yesterday, possibly around 30 degrees. Its midday so its not likely to heat up anymore.
We havent't gotten a drop of snow since Halloween. It's been very warm, even for here in the swamps of Jersey. Climate change, at it's finest.
4F and windchill is -12F. Winds gusting to 30 mph and a light snow falling. Just another balmy winter night in NE Wisconsin.
