The rate of increase has come down. Actual prices have not. They are only going up further at a slower rate. We still see no relief in prices back to or even toward 2019 levels.

Ummmmmmmm….that’s what inflation means. Prices go up. They ALWAYS go up, unless you’re in DEflation.

You know how many times the US has experienced deflation in the last 64 years…?

ONCE…in 2009 after the banking collapse. I guess you yearn for days like those…?

    Good grief…

Your graph shows that inflation skyrocketed under Biden in 2021, 2022, and remained high in 2023. READ YOUR OWN GRAPH!

If what this guy says about what's in the bill is true, ALL OF THAT is garbage. No one on the right should agree to any of that as it doesn't actually secure the border or reduce asylum seekers, it would actually ENCOURAGE it.

    Wtf Biden?

This is like doubling down with stupidity.

    Migration = good.
Too much migration in too little time? = bad.

Yes, high in 2021.....we had this little episode called COVID, you might remember...?

And then it STEADILY FALLS through 2022, 2023 down to the current rate of 3.4%...

In other words, not just now before an election. It has been steadily falling for the last 3 years...!

Read your own graph! It SKROCKETS starting in 2021... up and up in 2022... up even steeper in 2023... where your graph fizzles out. It has NOT been falling for three years. It has been going up and up for the past 3 years. Read your own graph!

Ummmmmmm….someone requires some instruction in basic number facts…

You see dear, when a value changes from 7.0 to 6.5 to 3.4, that is NOT what we call going “up and up”. It’s actually the reverse dear…those numbers are getting (now here’s a technical term..) SMALLER…!

When "religious" fervor is involved, one can expect trouble. The border situation and the politics around it is so heated now....that one can expect anything. And with Trump interfering with the R's when it comes to coming up with a resolution....more potential for volatility.

    Nice try..

Your graph shows Trump's numbers as 2.1, 1.9, 2.3, and 1.4. for each of his four years.
It shows Biden' as 7, 6.5, and 3.4 for his first three years. So let's copmpare:

    Trump's 1st year Biden's 1st year
2.1 7 So you see, dear, that 7 is a SKYROCKET high from 2.1... right?

    Trump's 2d year Biden's 2d year
1.9 6.5 So you see, dear, that 6.5 is a skyrocket high from 1.9... right?

    Trump's 3rd year Biden's 3rd year
2.3 3.4 So you see, dear, that 3.4 is still MUCH larger than anything seen under Trump... right?

Oh good grief…! Are you really kidding…??

    Let me remind you…

The original complaint was that Biden had somehow manipulated the decreasing inflation figures recently, because he was only 10 months out from an election. I pointed out (as simply as I could for those minds that may have difficulties) that this was not the case…that there had actually been a steady decline in those numbers over the 3 years that he had been in office………and voila…!

I did NOT make a year-by-year comparison for The Stain’s time in office, for one glaringly obvious reason….he didn’t have to manage with the recovery from the COVID impact…!!

Biden sent inflation to the highest levels in history. Top suggest that reducing it from catastrophic to just horrendous is kinda silly.

I don't know aqbout that. I tried to buy a house after Carter ran inflation up. 18% Mortgage rates back then.

democrats since FDR have a history of actually favoring high, real high, infaltion. Not sure of their reasoning. Not sure they know what it is either.

"Horrendous"...??? The US currently has one of the lowest levels in the world.....which you probably know, but aren't permitted to acknowledge...

And "highest in history".....?? I don't think so..........they were much higher in the 70's and 80's and during the world wars....

If you live in more remote areas, it will cost more because of transportation. !!!!!

    Even electricity has such fees.

But the house was still reasonable, despite the high interest rates.

Inflation has risen every month since President Biden took office (nbcnews.com)

Another rewrite of history? Inflation was much higher when Carter and Reagan were in office. 10 seconds of research is all it takes, dude. Try it.

What the heck does anything that happened over 40 years ago have to do with 2024?

I believe infklation was higher when Napoleon ruled too.

    So what?

YOU specifically stated that "Biden sent inflation to the highest rate in history ..." I was just pointing out that your post was BS. Don't be pissy with
me if you don't research your posts.

"pissy"??? How old are you? Am I discoursing with a child?

Very convenient that your Biden graph cuts out half way through his first year.

You, yourself, pointed out that inflation dropped after Biden's first year, so any more of the graph would simply show that - not helpful for you.
And you're talking to someone who voted for Reagan, the first term.
