Trump has done everything to warm relations between the two countries, even going so far as to blackmail Zelensky.

 

Why do dems keep with the lies that Trump was pro Putin when it was obvious he wanted to make the USA and Europe stronger and Russia weaker?



Exhorting Europe to be stronger militarily does not weaken them duh. Telling them to not buy Putin's oil and gas did not help Putin. Then you have our policies where with Trump where we were the number one oil and gas producer in the world and Biden tries to reduce that.

But its obvious why you can't stay on message. The Nord Stream 2 gives Russia a stranglehold over gas supplies to Europe and is a dangerous political weapon.
Trump blocked the NS 2 by imposing sanctions on companies involved in the project.
Biden lifted sanctions against Nord System 2 the day he took office.
And the entire world knows it. (Except you of course)

For those of us who actually have a clue, Ukraine lethal weapons approval was provided in 2019 by Trump. The first president in history to make this provision.
And the same approval used by Biden.
Except Biden waited until the invasion to send Ukraine anything which was too late and why Ukrainian officials labeled Democrats a *******.
That should give you a clue how pissed off they are.

Trump even tried to illegally withhold aid after Congress had approved it. And, again, since you refuse to read the Constitution, TRUMP'S "APPROVAL" WAS COMPLETELY MEANINGLESS . . . IT WASN'T ****ING REQUIRED AND IT DIDN'T ****ING MATTER. Read the damn thing. It isn't long. Most middle school political science classes require you to do this at some point.

It's good for all Presidents to try to warm the relationship to avoid WW3. Trump fought far harder to lift sanctions against Russia, Biden didn't take office on May 19th, Biden re-imposed those sanctions, and the project has been shut down.

To reiterate (so that I again have the pleasure of seeing you run away): Trump did nothing to promote that legislation and even his signature didn't matter. Trump could have vetoed the bill and we'd still have the exact same result. Trump mattered as much for the passage of this aid as you or I do and no more. Plus, you know, he illegally bypassed Congress to withhold the aid.

It's the issue to any honest, literate person.
