Not clear what happened here. It doesn't look the police are involved. But not everyone is happy with the police:
“this is a modern day lynching” Right away w/o any evidence of anything, straight to racism. I also find it foolish to say that the police should have issued an Amber alert when based of the arcile there wasn’t anything to suggest that that an alert should have been issued. This whole thing is very convoluted.
The family is upset. It does sound like there are 2 suspects who should be in police custody right now but aren't.
Funny asking for an investigation while also yelling to defund the police. Let them investigate on their own, we got better things to do.
The kid got high, freaked out and drowned in shallow water. Why is this a national story? https://abcnews.go.com/US/video-shows-louisiana-teen-quawan-charles-body-found/story?id=74212372
Given enough time, eventually water will be on the list of things that are racist, right next to math and milk. Edit: I should not have said eventually. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=water+is+racist
More information. I understand now. Apparently the parents are monetizing their son's death. I guess they figure they hit the pay day. Never mind that the autopsy shows a simple drowning, lets go with white supremacists for 1 million dollars. https://www.theadvocate.com/acadian...cle_efb6d808-236d-11eb-a872-23589998cd2f.html
Well they were the last people to see him alive, he was found behind their trailer, and the left in the middle of the night after he disappeared. At the very least obstruction of justice is called for and all of their actions indicate guilt.
Found in a field behind a trailer park where multiple people lived. And did you wonder why the as-of-yet unsubstantiated allegations by these private investigators say "the middle of the night" instead of naming an actual time. Well I'll tell you, its because the language of that statement was crafted by the family attorney who is bent on creating a narrative to sell their "modern day lynching" tale. Makes me wonder about the real motive here, is it finding out what happened to their boy or about trying to make him the next BLM icon?
Preliminary autopsy indicates he drowned and they have video evidence that he was alone near where his body was found. Of course, family is upset that they released information about the preliminary cause of death in response to the media uproar the family was making. https://abcnews.go.com/US/video-shows-louisiana-teen-quawan-charles-body-found/story?id=74212372
He was 15 years old. He had no means of transportation. He was driven, presumably under no bad intentions, to their trailer home 20 miles away from his home. According to the mother he was with them but at some point "wandered off". They didn't tell anyone including his family. Then they loaded up a u-haul and moved out of town. They transported a 15 year old then allowed him to wander off and didn't show a care. At the very least that is child endangerment.
