‘Trump Train’ drivers who tried to run Biden bus off road sued under KKK Act

Days before the 2020 election, a bus transporting a team of President Joe Biden’s campaign staff to an event in Texas was nearly run off the road by a barrage of vehicles toting Trump flags. Now, two lawsuits have been filed in relation to the incident — one against the Trump supporting drivers, dubbed the ‘Trump Train,’ and another against law enforcement who “turned a blind eye.”

“When members of the ‘Trump Train’ surrounded us on the highway and started harassing and threatening us, we were terrified,” said bus driver and plaintiff Timothy Holloway in a press release.

The plaintiffs claim that the actions of both defendants were in violation of the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871, a law designed to protect against political violence and voter intimidation, particularly of formerly enslaved people.

It's about time! Got to love the law they're using, too. We shall now see if the judge agrees with Trump that the drivers were 'patriots' who 'did nothing wrong.'

 

The defendants need to countersue using the You're a Political Dumbass Act of 2021. It came into effect January 20,2021.

 

I hope they have better videos than the one used on the website with this story. You know, it’s not a crime to drive while supporting Trump.

 

I see no harassing or threatening actions on the video. I don't even see any reckless driving.

Hey, I am willing to watch the video again. Can you point to the time on the video where there is harassment or threats? Even better yet can you point out when they tried to run the bus off the road as your title states? All I see are drivers sharing the road. I see no reckless driving, people cutting off the bus, swerving or threatening actions. If you were a police officer which vehicle would you have pulled over?

 

Like I said, turning a blind eye. I'm sure you think the pro-Trump insurrections on 1/6 were really just a bunch of innocent tourists on a tour, too.

 

All you are proving is your assumptions are bad. You should check my post history on the subject. As for your turning a blind eye accusation, you provided the video and created the thread. I asked you to point out where on the video there was harassment or threats. Your thread title was "Trump drivers tried to run Biden bus off road..." I simply asked where is the evidence for that? If you cannot point to it how can you say I am turning a blind eye? If I posted a video as evidence that someone was trying to run a vehicle off the road I would be able to point to the time when that happened.

I would guess that those who are suing have evidence. We wil have to wait and see what happens Those morons were definitely trying to impede the bus from reaching its destination.

If they have evidence I then I would be willing to change my mind. For me when I watch the current provided video all I see is traffic.

 

I don’t think a lawyer would agree to file the suit unless there is some evidence. I guess we will see at some point whether it’s enough to hold up in court.

Can you show us any proof that their driving was reckless let alone an attempt to "drive the Biden bus off the road"?

There are a couple of videos around one by an obvious Trump supporter who is describing, gleefully, what is happening

 

I see nothing in that video which shows that they attempted to run the bus off the road. In fact the bus stayed in the middle lane the whole time. It didn't even look like it even attempted to go into another lane.

There were two vehicles that were traveling way to close to the back of the bus. With in a foot I'd say. Both of those drivers should get a tailgating ticket. But beyond that, nothing else untoward happened.

So normal highway traffic? I mean was there even a single lane change in any of that footage? The fact that leftists would compare this with the KKK shows just how strong their unmitigated hatred for people who don't submit to their ideology really is. There isn't a damn thing wrong in that video.
