A Pulitzer Prize-winning correspondent for The New York Times said “there’s a real internal tug of war” at the paper between “the reasonable people” and “the crazier leftist **** that’s worked it’s way in,” according to undercover video released by Project Veritas on Wednesday.

The national security reporter, Matthew Rosenberg, who appears to have been recorded without his knowledge, purportedly said he has “a lot of younger colleagues who don’t seem to get what we do (at the NYT),” referring to “woke” employees who arrive after “indoctrination” from “a fancy Ivy League school.”

“They’re not the majority, but they’re a very vocal loud minority that dominates social media,” Rosenberg reportedly said of his “woke” colleagues, according to the undercover Project Veritas video. These NYT employees “would’ve been considered toxic” and “would’ve been shunned” if not for having been “elevated by social media,…

he Daily Callee News Foundation got a great story here. Project Veritas again exposes hypocrisy. Not of the man they recorded but the ones that he was talking about. The current state of the msn.

Woke ideologue is absolutely the most irrational ideology to ever grip the minds of Americans

And there's really no practical way to fix it either. Short of deleting our entire education system from Pre-K to University level, along with banning every social media platform, our only option is to let this **** burn out just as it did back in the 60s. This isn't the first time America has been under siege by moonbat far-left Marxists, although they certainly have done wayyyyyy much more damage this time around.

I don't like the "woke" thing as a whole, but the basis of it is a fine idea. The problem is that they have gone way too far with it, kind of ruining the original good idea it came from. We should be aware of racism, sex discrimination and other negative aspects of America, but when they take it too far (like BLM), they take away from the original intent and the original meaning is lost.

Let me add, it isn't just the "lefties" doing it, extremists at both ends of the political spectrum ruin the original good message of many things.

Very true. The only thing to do is just wait it out. Most people don’t agree with it, even your moderate dem just tolerates it as they have been socially engineered to, and wrongly convinced there are greater threats.

As you say, this isn’t the first time but it’s definitely the most power they have ever developed and most damage done here.

If turnout were fair play we would brand every one of today's Marxist progressives as the traitors to The Republic they're acting as and bar them from future prosperity once they snap out of this delusion; ya know, a little reverse cancel culture. But I'd rather forgive them and let them carry shame of knowing every single day just how much of their lives they wasted on this pointless clown world pursuit. I think, on the greater scale, that would be a better instrument for correcting the damage and educating future generations.

I would respectfully disagree. I was around it the 60's and 70's, it was different but had a more impactful effect back then. There were some good things that came from it, but a lot of negative also. It was also followed by an era of conservatism, so I expect things to swing back the other way at some point.
Back and forth the pendulum swings...........

Yep, I agree. Forgiving and allowing everyone to move forward once they stop with the stupidity is the best path forward. Once you start ostracizing people the only place that goes is violence.

That ostracizing of people is what the secular progressive elites along with the msm and big tech social media are doing to conservatives and Christians and they use algorithms, gate keepers , and so called fact checkers such as MBFC to do it to us with.

I was there as well and the thing about the left, they idolize JFK but he wouldn't even recognize them today and they would hate him.

Let’s see, what’s there to dispute? It’s just a article about a boomer who doesn’t see eye to eye with his new younger co -workers. Wow, riveting journalism right there.

I was a little kid when JFK was president, but seems like the early 60's and the late 60's were vastly different.
One reason why I try to stay away from the "left" thing or "right" thing is that they can mean vastly different things according to who is stating it.
Just a quick look around this board will display that. Dems are lefties, communist, marxist, etc., but that only paints a small portion of the picture, certainly not all.
My favorite is ANTIFA. Many here associate them with Democrats, but apparently those people don't know anyone who follows the ANTIFA thought process. They are not Democrats. They don't like Democrats, or Republicans or any other political group.
I don't know about hating him, but that was a different world back then. Kennedy might not be as revered had he not been assassinated.
And, in retrospect, LBJ was a better president than I had given him credit for all these years.

Who was the female asking the questions? That NYT reporter looked like he was trying to impress her and maybe score. She got him good ;).

The Democrat Party today is made up of Marxist rebels from the 60's, Obama was a product of that group and they are still alive and well. They can be found involved in higher education and public information systems and they have great influence over Democrat politics. The truth is the political structure on both sides in that era were not all that different in philosophy and goals. Politicians would have big splits and arguments publicly and then play cards, drink whiskey and smoke cigars and work out a compromise. Hell, most were lawyers and they actually liked each other. These ones today don't.
They don't like us much either.

I think this is one of the fundamental problems with democracy- the minority simply needs to be louder than the majority to skew the results. And as we all know, the unstable fringes are always the loudest.

Im not saying this means democracy is bad. All systems have problems and maybe this is a lesser compared to others. But it does, imo, mean that just because we can percieve a majority consensus on an issue doesnt mean that consensus actually exists. What to do about it- IDK. Probably keep representation and authority less centralized so the loud fringes cant skew the results for everyone.

There’s a lot more to it than simply age differences.
