Geezuz. You can't groom kids into homosexuality.
Sounds like a kid who may have picked up the idea from another student.
I used to live in Napa!

There's no way teachers are grooming kids. My sister taught high school there for years.
This is you smearing Napa teachers.
You have some really screwy wrong ideas about teachers.

Get government out of education and you won't have that problem.

Who says you can't? Just because it is genetic doesn't mean that one cannot be groomed into it also. Humans can be taught to do/be anything that another human can do.

While I strongly favor school vouchers and have for many years, including while I was a teachers' union table officer and head of bargaining for the union, I would caution you that doing vouchers poorly can seriously damage the education for millions of lower- and middle-income children.

Vouchers are more easily implemented in populated areas. Rural areas may not support a range of choices. I know a lot of fundamentalist Christians who would be concerned if the only private school in the area was run by the Catholic Church.

Unlikely in a school setting unless the rogue teachers were poorly supervised.

As a former union table officer and someone who represented teachers, I cringe at how many really stupid moves I saw over the years. Example: an administrator who inexplicably failed to write up a clearly incompetent teacher decided to go after the guy when he returned to duties days after suffering a heart attack.

Fix the supervision and the problem goes away.

Home schooling might work for younger students, but is not an option for most parents of high school students.

I'd say you're off to a bad start if you're thinking about how to implement vouchers in less populated communities.

Who said anything about vouchers? Education of children is the responsibility of parents, not the state.

So, are you an America hater who wants to wreck the economy? Would you like to dramatically cut the birth rate, force us to bring in even more immigrants to keep our population from going down, and bring about a revolt of younger people? Would you like to make K-12 education even worse?

How could a typical family feed, clothe, watch and educate a couple of children?

I dare you to outline a budget for a family with two school aged children when private schools cost $10,000+ a year. You won't, of course, because you can't make the numbers work.

So how are you going to supervise every teacher for the whole school day? Personally I suggest putting camera's in every single room of the school minus the bathrooms and make those video feeds available to all parents and staff members. Each feed is recorded and that recording is kept for 18 years.

What that should have said was that taking back control of the schools from crazy race obsessed leftist is the first step in restoring this country to sanity

What have you personally observed in "the schools"?

Not so much at the high school level. I worked with a lot of homeschool students who entered high school because their parents weren't skilled enough to teach more than one or two high school subjects.

Kids talk. If they think something may be wrong, they talk to other teachers, a counselor or even the admin. A competent admin has a good idea what going on in the school.

God teachers will quit if you put a camera in their room. All you have left are the dregs.

So....you think relying on kids gossip is a good way of supervising teachers? :confusion::eyepopping:

I have no words for that.

I'm guessing you meant "good", not "god". In any case, they must not be that good if they're afraid of being watched. In fact refusing it just confirms that there is a reason to watch them. And like any other job out there....they're replaceable. As a public servant they have no right to privacy on school grounds.

Home schooling is often the best option for most families. The homeschool students very often score higher in college entrance exams than public school students as do Christian private schools.
