But they are (or have been) refusing to receive inoculation — any while it might only be the elderly dying off sooner that is still an issue for the party that relies on them to win elections and already have issues picking up the popular vote. Trust me, no one is disappointed

I would add bleach drinking and refusal to accept treatment once dying as reasons. I read of at least two such tragic cases during the pandemic.

My guess why Finland fared better during the pandemic: -They didn't need government lockdowns to realize that heavy socializing and partying during a pandemic isn't a good idea. -They didn't have Fox News telling them that covid is a liberal hoax and has a mortality rate no higher than the flu. There is a reason why the US did extremely poorly in the per capita covid death rate compared to other civilized countries. A lot of hit has to do with selfishness and RW fake news.

It's probably just news media trying to spin science they don't understand. For instance, I know plenty of shotted people who are having weird ringing in their ears, left-center chest pain, palpitations and sleeping issues. That's a failing heart. It is probably because they took the shots. People don't randomly develop heart defects and chest pains because they aged one or two years.
No one said “because” of party, rather that a higher number of Republicans were victims of Covid, the question becomes why?
