I try not watching CNN eight hours before going to bed for obvious reasons.

Has CNN reported this story as "BREAKING NEWS" ???

I watched the reporter that broke the story tell his story - first, he confronted McCarthy and Ryan with the story, saying he had a source - they denied it. Then he said he had a transcript - they said it was bogus. Then, he confronted them with the tape, then they said it was a joke. They all lie.
    Very funny...

Putin is paying off Dana Rohrabacher, the surfing Congressman from Reagan Country (Orange County, Ca.) :roflol:

Putin don't surf. Neither did Obama which is very suspicious considering that Obama is from Hawaii.

Why is Putin paying off Rep. Dana Rohrabacher ? Because Putin won an arm wrestling contest against Dana Rohrabacher ?

RINOs lie. This is why Trump supporters don't trust them.

In that context, the whole GOP is a joke. Nobody's laughing.

After experiencing several financial bankruptcies, Trump now faces a moral bankruptcy.

He's been morally bankrupt since forever. And therein lies his entire problem.

    True.

And the obvious question is this:

Is anyone (other than partisan trolls who have no intention of being taken seriously) actually defending Trump anymore?

Being a New Yorker who has been exposed to Trump's crap since the 1980's, it has been very surreal to see anyone take him seriously as a man of the people. I never even watched his reality show because more exposure to him was unthinkable. He was very much like a part of the NY scenery that you just get used to like rats in the subway and pigeon's on the street.

At this point Trump's credibility is lower than the cockroach's fighting over leftover McDonald's french fries in the 14th St. subway station.

Holy crap! This part is just as shocking

Ryan: This is an off the record…[laughter]…NO LEAKS…[laughter]…alright?! [Laughter]
Ryan: This is how we know we’re a real family here.
Scalise: That’s how you know that we’re tight. [Laughter]
Ryan: What’s said in the family stays in the family

Conspiracy to obstruct justice? I think so.

~ I swear to God I think Putin is paying Trump. Okay but we keep that to ourselves?

    Wow!!!

I don't understand your point? Why does his credibility matter? You mean because that alone could get him canned?

It sounds to me more like a crime.

Ryan should've been out front WEEKS ago, saying the GOP needs to distance themselves from Trump.

    BUT, he remained silent.

    That is my point.

Paul Ryan is a spineless tool. :salute:

He took an oath to the constitution and is Speaker? And yes, he is a criminal participant.

Well, it's sort of a yes or no. I mean, this is off topic, but prohibition of pot has been one of the largest human rights injustices due to the collateral damage it has caused in the history of mankind.

The government is telling me I can't grow something to medicate my family with.

But I am allowed to take pills that can give me cancer while curing the symptoms of a stomach ache.

Don't you see how the government and private invested interests with profit motives have hijacked our liberty?

I'm a reformed hippie. I inhaled, a lot. Though under age consumption of alcohol is declining, it's still a serious problem. Adults sold me the refer I smoked in high school. They cultivated their own, so it wasn't as if I were exposed to gangs, or cartels ... just mellow hippies. My parents however didn't embrace the same philosophies. I'd be lying if I said my acedemic performance, and attendance weren't affected. Legalization without regulating? No.
