The topic appears to be the liberals inability to distinguish reality from fantasy. I attributed that affliction to substance abuse, as opposed to intellectual defect. The accusations couldn't be more disingenuous ... no one regarards this as factual. It's liberal media over-kill, and why MSM has created so many skeptics.

 

Ryan and McCarthy originally denied saying that happened, until audio revealed they did say it. Why did they lie about it.

 

He is the most obvious coward in the GOP under Trump of course.

Can someone explain to me why Ryan and McCarthy lied about McCarthy saying this, then when caught, said it was a joke? Why did they feel the need to lie about a joke? Is it because it wasn't a joke, and that they lied about it being a joke as well?

The Washington Post isn’t in the news business. After its takeover by Amazon boss Jeff Bezos, it’s in the business of manufacturing viral Trump hit pieces. It got a viral fake news hit with its lie that Press Secretary Sean Spicer was hiding in the bushes to avoid them. There was an equally snarky correction issued that was largely irrelevant. Having manufactured a piece of fake news fit for a Saturday Night Live skit, the Post then dutifully reported on the Saturday Night Live skit featuring its fake news item.

In the past there would have been a world of difference between the Washington Post and Saturday Night Live. Today they are part of the same lefty echo chamber. The media, all the various parts of it, is now one big influence operation. The machine works by developing and taking fake news attacks viral. WaPo and SNL are in the same business. There isn’t even much of a stylistic difference.

The Washington Post's "Trump fired Comey because he's taller" could easily have come from Saturday Night Live, The Onion or the Daily Show.

The truly damning epitaph of American journalism is that there isn't much of a difference. Saturday Night Live isn’t doing comedy and the Washington Post isn’t doing journalism. They’re both manufacturing viral Trump attacks.

Getting your news from the Washington Post is as worthless as getting it from Saturday Night Live.

Did you miss where "JOKING" appeared 3 times in the first paragraph of the OP? Why at this juncture should anyone think these "JOKING" remarks be anything but? Ryan is still insisting we "not rush to judgement" on Russian collusion. Ryan never raised Russian payments when he spearheaded #NeverTrump.

I've personally known Dana Rohrabacher going back to 1965 when we were catching waves at Bluff Cove in P.V. and Huntington Beach. We exchanged words and that was about it not knowing his name or he knowing my name until 1971 when Dana was one of the leaders of the "Young Americans for Freedom" (YAF) that would become the Libertarian Party years later.

Dana is what is known as a libertarian Republican.

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher was on President Trump's short list becoming the American Ambassador to Russia because Rohrabacher has cojones, has earned Putin's respect after the arm wrestling incident and Rohrabacher knows how to deal with Putin and Putin has no respect for poosies and pantywaist like Obama.
