a few weeks ago i was talking to my sister and she made the statement that she was afraid that with trump in office they would outlaw abortion. it was all i could do to keep from laughing in her face. i just replied that no one was going to do any such thing. it's simply an impossibility - that ship has sailed, the fat lady has sung her final aria and elvis has left the building. it's not even on page five-thousand of anybody's agenda. it seemed so ridiculous to me that anyone capable of tying their own shoelaces would even entertain that fear. as ludicrous as that sounded to me, i keep hearing stupider and stupider sh*t coming from the mouths of people that you would think should know better. in the hundred and some odd days since trump was elected we have heard nearly every scenario ever imagined not just bandied about, but prophesied as inevitable, as foregone conclusions. he was going to sell us out to the russians, to the chinese or to some globalist conspiracy. he was going to start a nuclear war with the russians, the chinese or <insert name of second rate nuclear wanna-be here>. he was going to set aside all environmental protections, allowing our skies to darken, our rivers to catch fire and life in this country to come to a grinding halt. he was going to re-introduce child labor, slave labor and the eighty hour work week, as well as abolish all minimum wage requirements. of course, at the same time he was going to oversee a coup, abandoning the constitution and installing himself as perpetual interim dictator, and walk away from the presidency after a few months because the job was too hard or because he just got bored with it. does any of this sound familiar to y'all? these weren't just the hare-brained meanderings of drunken morons letting off steam. to some degree all of these have been floated within the main-stream media as inevitabilities and have been latched onto by the drones to fuel their moronic hate-fest.

i know you're all disappointed. i know you thought that after eight years of a democrat president everything would just keep going your way. you didn't seem to notice that in your bright blue dream world everything around you was turning red. i know you're upset that the world isn't all rainbows and lollipops and that you probably won't live to see that five hour work week with its $100k starting salary. i know it's hard to believe that we all can't just sit around the campfire singing kumbaya and laughing about the bad old days when people strived for better things and actually had to take responsibility for their own actions. i know it's tough, but hang in there. the pendulum swings and maybe next time you can aim your self-serving angst in a slightly more productive direction. in the meantime get over yourselves already and quit swallowing every bit of tripe that comes out of the mouth of every ivory tower fool who is just as disappointed as you are.

What do you mean no precedent? Study Germany from 1930 to 1934. He's following it so closely you'd think he's using it as a playbook.
1. Identify enemies
2. Blame them for all the country's problems
3. Identify yourself as the only one who can and will deal with the enemies and thus save the country. Make all your other promises vague and "flexible" but everything you say about your enemies must be consistent and repeated endlessly

After you become leader you must have a crisis to give you a pretense to pass your "Enabling Act". Once you do that you can begin mass incarcerations of your enemies, who will naturally include anyone who speaks out against you.

By 2020 it will be 1938.
